While there's definitely a lot of similarities in many of them in their slandering of Rolfe, calling him a man-baby and centering other insults around his presumed 'lack of maturity' the real issue can be found in the quoted segments from the articles.It should be an obvious pattern to observe: virtually all of the articles have some portion or another attempting to encourage (or shame) their readers into watching the film. I suspect that Sony Pictures paid the publications that put out these hit pieces in order to try and not only stir up non-existent controversy, but also to try and get more shekels from their doomed prospect.
