There's the standard history which says Germany allowed the British escape to Dunkirk for whatever reason and we don't really know, and other claims Hitler was still trying to make peace with the UK and never wanted war to begin with. If they were preparing an invasion then Barbarossa makes logical sense. They had no time to just sit back and wait. The Allies wouldn't let them. Being allied with Japan then also makes sense because Germany had nothing to lose by doing so.

Once that happened all the Allied powers were dead set on destroying Germany, which would be in line with the trend of US aggression we see today. Not really. What happened to Germany is once they fought their way through Russia they just didn't have the resources to go all the way. The Allies were pumping material into Russia so they could continue the war and Germany just didn't have the material to keep up. The US actual boots on the ground entry into the European theater was after the fact. By then Germany's defeat was just a matter of time. Thing is even if the US hadn't entered the war, we'd have still supplied Russia and Germany would have still been defeated.

Demographics having no impact on politics is pure fantasy. There has never been an example in history where one race managed to subdue another race, live with them, but keep them segregated and powerless, not mix with them, and sustain that system for very long. The Indian caste system is the closest example there is, but that system is propped up by a religion that Southerners don't subscribe to, it's currently falling apart and they're all mixed with each other to some degree anyway.
