Go to see a doctor.

Start lifting.

Start lifting.

Try opiates

Work out, faggot.

>tfw working out just makes you more sore and tired

Good luck! I've been going back and forth from the doctors since January because I'm getting chest pains, dizziness, weakness, tight throat, and a feeling like my heart stops and then jolts back. They've done bloods, ECG, barium swallow, all sorts (some multiple times) and because I have a previous history of anxiety and they haven't found anything immediately they're constantly telling me its anxiety.
The thing is my anxiety is social, meaning I'm perfectly fine playing vidya at home but don't have a good time going into town and every time they try to do tests it happens to be at a time when the symptoms aren't occurring. I've tried everything to get them to listen to me and they just completely ignore what I say and go right back to telling me I have fucking anxiety.
So I'm still here rapidly dying and nobody will do shit about it until I end up in hospital, by which time it will probably be too late.

I don't want to die, Holla Forums, but I don't feel like I've got long left unless doctors finally care enough to find out what's wrong with me.

Also I should mention I'm not a fat fuck before people start telling me I am. I'm actually pretty underweight and don't seem to be able to out weight on.

go to a doctor first, then check out /ckfitvegan/

Yeah start lifting.
Go to >>>/fit/ and find out what exactly you gotta do. There will be a lot of focus on form which is good but even when you start to get the hang of it don't stop rechecking your form. I got used to lifting after a couple of months but then fucked up my back when I stopped paying attention to my exact form with every repetition.
Recovering now actually. it was just a muscle strain, I'll be fine.

Doctors are like that. They can be extremely arrogant. Someone was on a chan a few years ago complaining of a bot fly infection. He was with the VA and the docs wouldn't believe him when he said insects were coming out of his body. In the post he didn't know about bot flies and I didn't know what was happening until years later when I read about them and it clicked.

However strange your symptoms are if you're sure they're happening you need to (if you can afford it) keep doing research on your own and keep looking for new doctors until someone believes you and is willing to get to the bottom of it.

Can I suggest looking into Guillain-Barré syndrome or shingles?

I am a medical student, and I can guarantee you: most chances are that you will find the answer to your problem in psychiatry or in rheumatology

Psychiatrical and rheumatological diseases tend to manifest with organic symptoms and/or pain.

I refuse to make a diagnosis for you, because it's unethical, but try to look for these two especialities.
Good luck mate

Well, I can try to clarify some of your doubts.

1. Yes, mental problems (like depression or anxiety) can trigger pain in the body. It's called somatization when it happens: the body starts to make the mental pain become physical, because it's a way to locate the problem and solve it. Of course that it doesn't work always, so it's more of a warning than the real deal.
Often, the pain is much more important to the patient than the real mental problem, but it's the doctor's duty to give attention to all the problems

2. Rheumatological diseases can cause lots of pain too. Dermatomiosytis, artritis rheumatoid, fybromialgia, juvenile arthritis, Sjögren disease, just to name a few common rheumatological diseases that can cause lots of pain.

3. The treatments usually revolve around bio-psico-social measures, associated with medication when needed.
Sometimes the patients needs to eat well, start to work out his body, run, swim, or even make physiotherapy. From researches and empirical evidence, we found out that using the muscles/bones tend to reduce the pain, because the blood flow actually gets better and the pain threshold gets higher
Psychologically speaking, psychotherapy tends to help ease the pain, even if it's not mental
Sociologically, changing the person habitat/social situation can help ease the pain too. It's very easy to conclude that a kid that gets bullied will feel his pain worse than a kid that is loved by his family, friends and social group. Sometimes, clearing your social environment is a good choice too

So OP, I'm here just to give some tips and try to help you. I know how bad the pain can be, it can destroy your body and mind, and I do believe that your pain is real and agonizing.

Really, good luck finding a good doctor that fits your needs, and good luck with your problems, try to remember that you have a life to live: make the better out of it, I know you can.

Hope I helped mate

Heh… not user, but I've actually had both, myself – I had Guillain Barré when I was 24, and I had shingles about 5 months ago (32).

Both are pretty fucking terrible, and it doesn't sound like that's what OP is dealing with… at all. Guillain Barré causes pretty severe numbness that tends to progress fairly rapidly; in my case, when it peaked, I literally lost control of the nerves in my eyes and lost almost all proprioception (pretty scary shit).

As for shingles, it almost always comes with a rash, and the affected region is almost always localized (unless it's a very extreme case of disseminated shingles, but that's only in individuals who's immune system is severely compromised)

Both are auto-immune nerve diseases, and symptoms can differ wildly.

Even though Guillain-Barré and Shingles can cause pain, it doesn't look like OP suffers with any of those

1. Guillain-Barré is a progressive polineuropathy, it means that affects lots of nerves and progresses with time. The muscular nerves are affected very much, and he didn't complain about loss of muscular strengt… I wouldn't put Guillain-Barré syndrome on my problem's list…

2. Shingles cause localized pain on a dermatome (a region that has an specific nerve for the sensations, image related). OP specifically complained about generalised pain

There's a very, very big discussion on the academy, about what auto-immune really means. I would call Guillain-Barré and shingles immune-mediated disease,s not auto-immune. There's no strong evidence that there's specifically auto-imune mechanism involved, but immune mechanisms are present

...

What are you taking? If you are taking blood pressure medicines, one of the common and very distressing side effects is severe weakness, muscle and joint pain.
Its a sign to stop taking it and find another BP medicine immediately.

BTW antidepressants cause similar shit too.

I'm the user who had both, and auto immune disorders are absolutely rampant in my family – you name it, and I can almost guarantee that someone in my immediate/extended family has it.

This would not have happened, if you had obeyed the holly words of the Lord Fagottini.

if it gets worse after not moving for extended periods of time, then it's strep throat almost for sure

see a doctor

Any auto-immune disease has its risk augmented with familiar history

It's something that you and your kids should always say when they visit the doctor because they have some strange symptom, or an emergency

There's no way you can say that rest + pain + muscle soreness = rheumatoid fever, or a common streptococcal infection

Yeah, it's actually one of the main reasons why I'll never have kids – that, and the fact that I'm an alcoholic and a humongous fuck-up, who will probably end up committing suicide in the not-too-distant future.

take some antibiotics, if the pain starts to feel better you are suffering from systemic inflammation.
The cause? Could be many things, allergies, food or otherwise, drug side effects, chemical exposure, or infection due to a rotten tooth or skin infection.

Mate, if you're feeling depression symptoms, and if you're feeling like suicide, please go look for help, with a doctor or a psychologist

Suicide doesn't end your pain, it only gives the pain to someone else deal with
It doesn't matter if your life sucks and you're shitty at everything, there's always a way to live better and learn to grow

If you need to open yourself and likes to keep user, look for this website blahtherapy.com/

A 15 year old girl just died in my country because of a tumor the size of an orange in her head.
Doctors kept saying she had anxiety, kid died in her home. Go figure, get help now

DO NOT take antibiotics by yourself

1. It may look like the problem is solving, but if it's not a bacterial infection, it won't get better

2. If you take antibiotics by your own withouth medical supervision, you'll help create superbacterias, somethink we all should fear (because there may come the day when we won't have antibiotics to fight a bacteria that can resist all we know…)

3. It's stupid to assume you're able to deal with a problem bigger than your own knowledge. You must trust someone at some point

Which country? Do you have the news?
Yeah, doctors make mistakes too… it's sad but we're humans too

Couldn't archive it, kid was 19 actually, went to see 11 doctors

theportugalnews.com/news/girl-dies-after-fatal-16kg-tumour-is-repeatedly-dismissed-as-anxiety/38704

I appreciate that, but I was mostly joking (although I'd never completely rule it out).

1. Are you a doctor/med student?
2. If so, do you think that Guillain Barré might make someone more susceptible to shingles? Im curious, given the fact that I got shingles at such a relatively young age; granted, I had been on a long bender and was a bit stressed at the time, so it wasn't a total shock.
3. If you're not a Dr./ med student, I don't want your fucking e-pinion.

então você é português! Eu sou de uma antiga colônia…

Africa?

Congrats on the big win today

I kept saying throughout all the matches, the game never begins until the 90 minute mark. This one was for poor Ronaldo's tears

1. Yep, med student right now. At the end of 2017 I'll be a doctor with degree. Time doesn't seem to pass… fuck
2. We don't actually know what causes Guillain-Barré syndrome. The best theory explains that an antigen coming from a bacteria/virus/another pathogen may cause immune-mediated response, that triggers nerve lesion.
Imagine that a lot of 15 year old kids go to a shop and shoplift. Over the course of time, the owner will start to creep out all 15 year old boy, just to keep himself better safe than sorry.
Some kind of crossed immune response causes neuron lesions on the axon, crippling the cell function.
There's some evidence that Shingles infection can cause Guillain-Barré syndrome. Also, Campylobacter jeunii and some vaccines can trigger Guillain-Barré too…

Não

Verdade seja dita, sei pouco ou nada da história das colónias por isso estou um bocado a leste

jejuni*

Other pathogens that may trigger the syndrome:
- Mycoplasma
- Citomegalovirus
-Epstein-Barr virus

I remember reading that parvovirus B19 and coxsackie could cause it also

sou do Brasil

Where did you watch it? Were you flipping out?

Well congrats in advance.

I think I may have a rather unique story about my Guillain Barré, and the events leading up to it.

I can't tell if the fentanyl is what triggered it, or a bacterial infection – I guess I'll never know. The thing is, I had the 2 week flu/cold symptoms that usually accompanies the Campybolacter, but I suppose the fentanyl could have triggered the fucked up immune response, due to the fact that my immune system had been weakened from the illness.

I can't tell you how many times I've gone over this shit in my head.

It's super common that a Guillain-Barré happens asociated with a story of "the past two weeks I got a vaccine shot/had infection/had fever". It's linked to the pathogenic origin

Your alcoholic habits may be linked to vitamin B deficiency also…

I never read that fentanyl has any relation with polyneuropathy

Ah, thanks for the compliment also!

This is pretty much what I've settled on, but I think perhaps the fentanyl may have sped up the process; however, I almost find it a bit too coincidental that I snort fentanyl for the FIRST TIME, and the next day, my nervous system begins to shut down lol.

You sound smart.

med fag here, just had to turn my pc off for a moment

It's a topic to research, if fentanyl accelerates the process

But take care of your alcoholism mate

Well yeah, I didn't bring any evidence, you're a genius, brilliant!

The kid came to 8 chan looking for medical attention, I happen to be a medical student that has some knowledge. I never made a diagnose to him here and never will.

It's up to you believe what I am, or not. It's not my problem what you believe

I've actually been sober since I had shingles (5 months) – longest period of sobriety in about 10 years. but it's only a matter of time until I fuck it up

Alcohol abuse = use of alcohol in large amounts for a long period of time, resulting in little dependency symptoms when you stop using alcohol for some time

Alcoholism = alcohol abuse with abstinency symptoms, and other criteria I won't define here

Maybe you're an alcohol abuser, it's a problem already, it's time to stop. But do as you please, it's your life and your decisions. The doctors are here to help, we won't make you do anything you don't want to

work out or accept your life as a scrawny fuckboy and become a sexy twink gay pornstar

You mean like the DT's? Heh

Not asking for it, but thanks anyway.

Yes, like the detoxication symptoms… it happens

Well, you're welcome

Yeah, detoxing can be pretty rough. I've never had any seizures, but I've become pretty sick if I'm coming off a particularly long bender; in which case, I usually clean myself up for a few days/weeks, and then I'm back at it again – it's been that way for around 14 years.

But hey, who knows, maybe this time it'll stick.

I'm a chicken, I never used drugs, but that's because I try to take lots of care with my body.

I have seen some men fighting against drugs… it's a very sick world we live in

So, I'm going to sleep
Bye guys, hope I've helped someone here

Bye mate, good to talk to you

And that's why you'll probably amount to something

You too, user. Take care.

Looks like you've had some good help in this thread so far, op. I just wanted to add that i have had a similar problem all year. Extreme bone/joint and muscle pain. My vitamin d was super low, so they gave me a supplement and it's helping. Not gone yet, but better. Hang in there and go see a doctor! Good luck!

Doctors make way more mistakes than they should because they rely on population studies to tell them what illnesses people "should" get. In developed countries they think their only job is to reassure people they are healthy when the health of that population has been declining for decades.

Maybe you're just a hypochondriac.
