The Bitstrips website no longer lets you make an account. This means that you can no longer save the characters that you make using the character editor. Even if you only intend to use them for one comic, you're required to save your character before using it, and you can't save it anymore, so.. the comic editor is essentially useless.
Has anyone archived the original version of Bitstrip? Are there any alternatives I can use?

I remember I took that "Check out this text I sent to Katey!" comic and turned it into a six-part plot about faking deaths and the mafia, and then it ended with Katey reading the mean text.
For me, it's gone forever. The HD it was on broke down. Hopefully someday, someone will find it somewhere on their own HD. That is, if anyone else actually saved it.
