This shit needs to be addressed. So far it's been talked about in unrelated threads and causing a shit show, so this is an attempt to contain it and regain some semblance of normalcy.
Holla Forums pre-Trump presumptive nomination was majority (Or at least most visibly) pro-Trump. There were very few genuine anti-Trump (Or if there were many, they kept quiet. Certainly possible).
After the presumptive nom, we see an influx of ~200 users. This in and of itself means nothing. It's that it directly correlates with a massive increase in the amount of anti-Trump posts. Yes, yes, "muh hugbox", but when you get a sudden influx of people at the same time a major opinion seems to change, it's cause for concern. It seems pretty unlikely that we had a native anti-Trump population that only decided to start speaking up after he's more or less won the nomination.
In addressing these posts, I'm going to try not to directly argue the point, just point out what's going on.
Nothing new, but the sheer amount of OPs and posts like this have the biggest correlation with the new influx.
A newer one, but happens to be new along with the new users. He has no control over who endorses or supports him. This sort of thing was covered here when people like David Duke endorsed him. It didn't matter then, it shouldn't matter now.
Also a new one. This one isn't as questionable, since he's making these appointments post presumptive nom., and it's harder to conclusively associate with the influx. Still something to be aware of
Someone is obviously fanatically opinionated and wants everyone everywhere to know it, but only became so after the Indiana vote.
This has changed in direct correlation. Typically when presented with "Who do I vote for" was either not answered or dismissed with "You shouldn't vote they're all shit". Now, the response is something along the lines of "Vote Trump if you want, just know he's controlled/Jewish/a con man/etc."
These are some of the biggest ones, but there are plenty more. I'm not necessarily claiming shill, because as far as I know, it could just be anti-Trump Holla Forumsacks finally deciding to speak up (At the worst time and for no perceivable good reason but whatever). I have no way of knowing.
What I do know is that there is a drastic shift in the visible opinions of the board, and it coincidentally correlates directly with Trump's victory and an influx of new users. I just have a feeling we're going to see this shift suddenly disappear come November.
Now, if this shift IS the result of shills, I'd rather see it here than somewhere else. Yes, it's a pain in the dick, but we've proven before that we're "more difficult to manipulate than expected". Let the money and manpower be wasted where it will have an opposite and galvanizing effect. If they're getting paid to do it, it's not like they care if it works or not.
