BREXIT: IT'S HAPPENING

We who vote leave, stand in the way of the Liberal Cosmopolitan Elite"

Boris Johnson, the United Kingdom's most popular eurosceptic made a speech detailing why Britain is better outside of the EU. This man is truly our only hope Holla Forums, without him the Brexit campaign would've became a car crash. Looking at current polls it look likes the fight will be based on a 50/50 split.

Boris has previously said he loves the EU and wants us in. He flip flops constantly. Now the referendum is underway he has maneuvered himself to the head of the leave campaign. It is a good career move. If he gets us out he will be seen as the leader of a succesful campaign, and since Cameron is going to resign should we vote to leave, Boris will be the obvious one to be picked to become the new PM. If we leave, he gets to be a martyr and an underdog, which British people love.

Or he may have got himself into this position so he can call for a second referendum after "renegotiations" and keep us in.

Boris is a snake. He's not on our side, except when it suits him.

No retard has adopted this position.

several people have put forward the idea of having two referendums, one now, one after "renegotiations".

Boris himself floated the idea, was mocked by Cameron, and has done a u-turn and now rejects the idea himself. Or so he says. Expect to see it brought back later on.

Boris is a known flip flopper on the EU and says different things to different audiences over the years.

this

The whole EU structure is based on bullshit (((neoliberal))) economics that allows banks to run the show. Many argue that if there were no EU, then there may not have been a crash in 2008 bc the US would have regulated derivatives (but didn't in order to compete with the EU)

If you think the EU will let Britain leave because of some "vote" you are sorely mistaken. The Rothschild harpy Merkel will use everything in her and her masters power to keep Britain entrenched in the multicultural program until it is sufficiently Ackbar.

Same thing with the Lisbon treaty being voted down, the European union constitution being voted down, Scotland leaving the Union and so on. It doesn't matter if there is a referendum.

You must be Dutch, we don't have non-legally binding referendums.

Voting to leave doesn't just mean people want to leave the EU, they also reject Cameron's renegotiation.

ITT: you mirin'

I'm American and I've watched as grass roots movements have successfully run referendums in Europe numerous times, only to be shot down or the referendum cast again and again until the vote is in favor of the EU.

Ha, what a butt-blasted bitch he is!

He just joined the team of redpilled politicians with gangsta hairstyles

Yes we do. For example, the current EU referendum you may have heard of is non-binding. It could just be ignored outright, but I don't think it will since that is too blatant.

We could leave the EU, then opt-in to everything. So we'd be "out" on paper, but in practice in.

Leaving process can be dragged out indefinitely. So they can just drag it out for 10 years, then say "well that was 10 years ago, and lots more people can vote now so lets have a vote again just to make sure :^)"

The idea of another referendum very soon after the first can always come back too.

We need to leave, and voting leave is a step towards that, but you shouldn't think it's as simple as one referendum and then that's it. The EU is a monster that wants to gobble up all the nation states in its vicinity and our government and civil service are full of utopian globalist shills that love the EU. It's not really over until the EU actually no longer exists.

The idea is that when we are leaving, we cannot have a PM negotiating the new deals with the EU who wanted to stay in.

We don't have referendums often because we're always serious about the result.

The countries you're talking about have referendums every month or so.

the EU is cracking at the seams

Yeah but if they ignore this referendum or dont act on it they will be admitting Britain is not a democratic nation
this will be the first referendum in 70 years to not be obeyed if they dont leave the EU after the votes are tallied

The elections are next year though, if Rutte pulls that shit then he probably loses all of his potential voters

guy looks like a Trump cosplay

in Britain Parliament is not legally bound to obey the outcome of a referendum
however in the past century only two referendums were ignored or not followed, Churchill and someone else vetoed two referendums i think but of the last 12 referendums in Britain all 12 have been obeyed
if this referendum is ignored or not followed by Parliament they admit their interests do not align with the people anymore
then all hell will break loose

dog bless the Gueen :DD

BREXIT INTESIFIES

Boris gave a pretty damn good speech. That fucking mudlsime Faisal Islam pretending he blamed the EU for Ukraine, he didn't, he said the EU dealt with it terribly, and just like Yugoslavia aren't fit for that purpose, therefore the argument that it is a security force is retarded, he hammered that home that NATO and not the EU is the reason Europe doesn't war.

The real reason is Germany are fucking cucks and couldn't find their balls in a million years, they invade by fucking other countries over like Greece and Ireland.

Nah, they'll bank on it not happening. This will be an ignored referendum because this is one that actually matters

too much publicity, too much contention
this isn't something like changing the colour of london cabs, this is the future of the nation, all eyes are on them now and they can't sweep it under the rug at this stage

He's been Anti-EU since his days as a journalist in Brussels, so if there is one thing he's been consistent on - its this.

This seems fairly likely in the event that the referendum actually passes
I don't think the UK will actually leave the EU in any meaningful way, especially since the US has more or less ordered you to stay in

I doubt they will exit

true
the only good thing though is he might convince some tards to vote leave because borris is funny man lol

He came out as pro-Leave like a month ago, well after Cameron's phony renegotiation has concluded, and it was clearly phony from the very start.

...

It's true though, from the perspective of the hard left Corbyn has cucked them on the EU.

Funny, the one far-left policy he sells out on isn't his sexism or communism or Islamist sympathy or IRA support or antiZionism, but the one thing he got right, euroscepticism.

Where's that webm of Boris headbutting some guy in the changepurse?
