I honestly think it would have just been… alright.

The style of the world is very lovely, but people build it up to much, it doesn't seem to have that much potential.

Not to mention that the robot's design and personality pisses me the fuck off. He looks so shit.

This was never meant for public eyes, you know. Everyone who worked on this has moved on; you all should too.

It would have given waifu fags enough material to fap for another ten years if necessary.

I'm glad it never got turned into a full show.

no idea, only watched the parody

...

No.
And the only reason anyone even talks about it now is because of Zone. Before that, no one gave two shits except one or two weirdos.

pan, we've been over this. go away.

A bunch of people liked it before the porn. I remember it always being talked about fondly in those failed pilot threads on half/co/.

The greatest possible show is always one that was never made.

It doesn't seem to have anything going for it besides a cute girl main character, and there are enough of those.

Said parody porn also probably means it would never get a second chance. It's just too well-known by now.

I'm glad the Gyan lost to the Gelgoog

I remember reading some info graph a while ago about some easter egg trail in the parody and the show. Something inferring that the actual creators in someway had a hand in its creation. Is there any sauce to this?

Its existence is still more relevant than the Modifyers.

I wish I remembered the name of the song in that trailer. Used to get posted in sound threads all the time.
Xero > Lacey by the way.

No not really. It would have been just like Tuff Puppy.
A very interesting and charming character surrounded by idiots designed by idiots.

The rat, the robot, the villain have no place together with Xero and Lacey's genuine suaveness.
Plus that shitty Butch Hartman design. (noodle arms)

And the last nail on the head is that Xero and Lacey aren't different characters which interact together, which makes for a very boring show.

I would probably grab them and reuse them in a different, much more charming show.
I never liked and never wanted CN and Nick's crude "What a Cartoon" shock humour and toilet humour genre. It felt like that was the part which executives should have said "No!!! Remove the awful comedy and maybe then."

I remember people saying it would have been a more interesting show if it was a villains-focused show where Lacey is an actual villain which always 1ups every other mercenary and villain.

Kinda like what Wander over Yander would have been like if we focused the entire show on Lord Hater trying beat every other villain.

No, because the "humor" was bad, the sidekick was a faggot and she was discovered by the villain's henchman.
The whole point of having a double agent just ended in the pilot and I cant see how would the series continue.
The reality is that there should have existed two girls, Agent Xero and Lacey Shadows.
this could have been more interesting.
The villain was pathetic and uninteresting.
I felt he whole pilot as something pointless.
The parody was more of the same boring tentacle sex that Zone love and I only liked the normal sex scenes.

Peach Blossom by the Eels.

I know this has probably been said a hundred times before, but it's sad how rule 34 animators are way better at animation than 90% of people who come out of animation school.

I think it would have been better if they kept it ambiguous. Like if instead blatantly having two characters or having just one, they just never had them both in the same scene. Maybe have the show about the villain trying to figure out if his most loyal henchman IS ACTUALLY his arch nemesis, only to find out at the end of the episode the original reason for his suspicion was completely unfounded in the first place.

The style is something, to me, I felt I have seen many times before. Storywise it was pretty meh. It would have lasted maybe a season or two and then be forgotten.

...

...

...

It would have spawned a new wave of insufferable waifufags. I'm glad it got deep-sixed.

the art was pure eye candy. the story was shit.

tbh, the pilot doesnt necessarily have to foloow the rest of the series.

It's just a pitch with a dicktease.

chances are the series would have been different.

A while ago I watched the original Fairly Oddparents shorts that came before the actual show. They barely had anything in common except the basic premise. A pilot is not necessarily representative of the show, it's just a prototype you make and then work out the detail from there.

...

So what does Holla Forums think a western counterpart to Cutie Honey should be like?

I think the FOP pilot at least had a better art style.

Yes, but only because it would give more context to the porn.

I bump.

Seconded.

it shouldn't exist along with western and canadian animation industry

YES.

Only waifufags think Kitty is a worthwhile character.

Better voice for Cosmo along with him not being a braindead retard too, I loved his game-show host voice and there's more interesting things they could do with a defective wand he complains about needing to get fixed being why wishes are fucked up than just Cosmo being a retard and mishearing or fucking up from incompetence
