ITT: Terrible shows that nobody watched, yet somehow lasted for years

How did these shows last so long, Holla Forums? Absolutely no one I knew watched them when they were airing I never heard about them on the internet, TV, or anywhere else until well after they were canceled, yet each of them lasted for over half a decade. How is that? There's no way any money was made off these turds.

I watched George Lopez.
When I was in middle school.
I regret everything.

Also, I remember the first episode of yes, dear being good, but turned to complete shit by the second episode.

According to Jim was fucking awful, holy shit.
I also didn't realize John Belushi had a brother until this piece of shit came out.
I don't even know how George Lopez took of as a comedian in the first place, much less how he had his own show. He's sub-Carlos Mencia tier.
I don't remember the other two.

The only time Reba was any good was in Tremors.

I thought George Lopez's show was notably superior to his stand-up not that it says much Guilty pleasure when there isn't other shit on tv

I thought Reba was pretty good to be honest, don't care about the other three.

My mother liked Reba. I think that was probably the target audience.

Reba was a milf, the show was directed towards horney incest addicts.

George Lopez is unironically one of the absolute worst comedians I've ever seen. Even Seth "DUDE NORTH KOREA LMAO" Rogen manages to be funnier then this faggot. I'm convinced the only reason his career took off was from ignorant white liberals thinking they have to pretend to laugh at him so people don't think they're racist.

I liked According to Jim quite a bit when I was 14 or so. I hate to use the memey buzzword, but it seemed pretty "comfy" at the time.

In retrospect, it was pretty goddamn terrible.

this steaming pile of turd juice got six seasons. nobody watched after season two

chans and your customized social media feeds aren't the whole internet, retard. these shows got great ratings. all these sitcoms did. Last Man Standing went for like 5 seasons, networks don't let that happen unless there's viewers.

His brother is overshadowed up to his head, more than Murray's and coincidentally the same happened to Farley's brother.

I agree.
He's literally
==DUDE MEXICAN HERITAGE LMAO== tier

Meant to put "tier" on its oen line, but whatever.

LOLXD!!!

Then why did I find it to be so shitty?

...

...

But didn't this last for like two seasons or some shit?

...

I watched a lot of George Lopez at 2:00 in the morning on Nick at Nite there for a while. I actually really love the show. It was weird to see a sitcom with so many multi-episode story arcs. His mom, was funny, Angie's dad was funny. Just a really solid show all around. I'd highly recommend it.

I'm still a little sore Nick at Nite put it in The Nanny's old time slot though.

...

honestly it was only made better by the late time slot. something about being half asleep increases the perceived quality of media. i recall watching biodome at 4 in the morning and thought it was comedy gold that said, i was really only half watching it while i played idya, in addition to the aforementioned half-asleep state, so i was really only quarter-watching it.

That's true. A lot of the funniest things I've ever seen on TV, I saw late at night.

Sony paid Fox to keep that terrible Brad Garrett/Joely Fisher sitcom on for 4 years even though it had basically no viewers so they could make enough episodes for syndication.
Eventually the writers realized no one was watching so they could do anything they wanted.

did they just start screaming cuck porn at one point or something?

I only saw a few bits after it was in syndication, but it was just silly irrational things like 4th wall breaking and slutty outfits.

I haven't seen it in so long, not sure what I would think of it now.

Carmen's still hot.

i like the mom honestly

She was the weakest link of the show for me. Her delivery I never felt was up to snuff.

No, but damn was she good milf material for a spic

TAKE THAT BACK!

Nice trips. It lasted for 5 seasons and spawned some tv-movies

That show as on every fucking day and I don't think I watched a single episode of it.

...

I used to enjoy George Lopez in 5th grade through most of middle school. I used to watch it at night. Now that I look back, the only really funny characters were Benny, Vic, and someone else who I forget but would remember if I wasn't awake all night.

Anyways, I used to think it was quality tv, but looking back not so much.

...

Last Man Standing can be reasoned to have had an audience because it was a fairly straight sitcom with traditional conservative father figure. There's a similar appeal in Fuller House.

The George Lopez show is more of a puzzler since it doesn't seem like it'd appeal to many Americans.

FRIENDS

...

Is misfits still going? I watched season 2 but it just wasnt fun anymore.

this show was on for ten years.

And some people are still unaware NCIS is a spinoff of it.

and that shows been on 13 years now.

Ugh.

Holy shit double and triple Ugh.

It's like the brains of people who watch this shit have 'boredom' and 'entertainment' mixed up.

What a goddamn unfunny show.
"Look at the stupid grin on this blonde cunt's face! It just has to be funny, right?"
They put Lisa Kudrow and Jennifer Aniston into blender, and said "Now all we need are a bunch of gay jokes!"

The same jokes over and over.

it's a shame too, because the premise of "Wall Street banker is married to crazy moonbat" could have resulted in something bretty gud

Dude fuck this show. What were they thinking with those costumes?

I remember being more or less forced to watch yes, dear and occasionally there was a bearable episode. According to Jim never had a single one. Whenever I turn on my TV and it's the first thing I see I just turn it off again, because I'm instantly not in the mood for TV anymore.

you didn't fucking bait me asshole
0/10 shitty bait
I'm not even biting

looks pretty normal to me

...

This was okay. Whatever happened to David Spade?

Rules of Engagement and Sandler movies.

Oh yeah, I always forget about Rules of Engagement.

he was also the voice of the evil robot in Avengers 2

OVER 7000 EPISODES

That was James Spader

Saved By The Bell
Full House
Growing Pains
Boy Meets World

you kidding? everyone watched that

I feel similarly about the show, it's not something I ever really 'watch' but keeping it on late at night when nobody is around provides good comfort.

She's looking old now but I would still fuck her.

Didn't he also voice Sparx in that dark and gritty Spyro the Dragon remake?

...

Code Lyoko

We've had seven (yes seven) acts of congress making illegal aliens american citizens since 1986.

George Lopez is popular with americans. Just not the ones that speak english.

Undisputed fucking winner right here. Ten goddam seasons and no one has ever talked about it, ever. The only time it came close was when family guy did a gag about how only old people who always watch CBS watch it.

It peaked at the paintball episode, and every episode after it was pure shit. Not linearly, or exponentially shit, but pure shit. They acknowledged it in a later episode in the form of some T-Shirt which was the only catharsis.

Are you fucking serious? It got better as it progressed, and that's impossible to pull off.

I wanted to fuck the shit out of that bitch as a kid.

...

This little bastard won't die either. it has a spin off
THAT HAS TWO MORE FUCKING SPINOFFS!

and each of those come from characters from a single episode.

Its the Stargate of cop drama.

Saved by the Bell was fucking awesome. Shit tonnes of people watched it

DUDE JOE ROGAINE LMAO

NCIS New Orleans was based on some guest character Scott Bakula did?

...

The mid seasons of this show were actually not that bad. Or at least they weren't as bad as a large portion of the shit that was on at the time.

Fuck off Trekkie.

One of my all time favorite comedies. They fucked up so bad adding Rena Sopher to the cast they just removed her character without any notice.
Hard to believe that Steven Levitan made this masterpiece and then made that piece of garbage Modern Family.
