You miss the point, if you reduce TR8-T0R to a meme: he's more than just a club-swinging punisher of niggers. He represents the disconnect between direction and results, that telling moment when you realize the movie is not going the same direction its liberal makers had anticipated.

TFA tells a simple, rethorical tale. As far as the story is concerned, TR8-T0R only exists to add character to Finn: he embodies sheer evil from militarism. Abrahms gives you just that but in his righteous fury he lets his hand slip, and stacks up all odds against him. Now the viewer's animal brain can't be fooled: Finn is no longer the rebel underdog; he's proving weak, against an underequipped enemy too; and he's being accused of treason by a former friend, which is highly damning.

You witness this in pure clarity, with the growing annoyance that the small man behind the camerawork had no concept of honor.

I'm convinced that Phasma was played by an extra originally, or a lesser/unknown actress, and they just paid Gwendoline Christie voice over after the fact when they realized they needed a popular modern star to go alongside all the no-names and has-beens that made up the cast.

Not really, Lando was responsible for handing Solo over to Vader and the Imperials who froze him and decided to ship him to Jabba, Fett was literally just the delivery boy. He did have a jetpack though, so that alone puts him higher then Phasma.

He did also fight Skywalker and incapacitated him for a few moments.
