Socialist utopian society with no concept of money embarks on a mission to spread humanism across the universe

the shit Roddenberry

...

pick one

...

weren't the jew aliens mining crystals for profit in the original series?

ferengi didn't show up until TNG but they're obsessed with trade, obsessed with maximizing profits, and obsessed with swindling people they trade with. Their society is decadent and corrupt.

oy vey goyim

so was roddenfaggy a kike or just a very good goy?

He was raised a baptist, but went full fedora shortly after. He 'figured out' that religion was pure nonsense by the age of 14.

...

He may as well have just gone all the way and given them a shit ton of hair and a Yarmulke.

...

I, I d-don't know what you're talking about, goy…

...

For being a commie Roddenberry was exploitative as fuck. He wrote lyrics to the opening song that he never intended to use. He just wanted 50% of the royalties as a theme song co-creator.

"things are bad unless it benefits me"

this is an old world thing

Read a book.

DS9 destroys Roddenberry's faggy little utopian dream.

The federation's collectivist goodwill is just a mask for power, and expansion. The gods are dead, or a lie and the universe is engulfed in the flame of the licentious. None of the characters truly belong anywhere in particular, whether they think so or not. By the end of the series almost all the remaining sense of culture in the cardassians and ferengi is destroyed. It's just a black comedy masked. I could go on, but the if I don't tend to the cuts this edge gave me I'll bleed out.

If we're going by DS9 it's actually pretty damn effective. It's repeatedly pointed out that they haven't had a war, genocide or similar in living memory since they're bad for profit.

Well since it isn't a race, what is it?

I'm about to finish watching TNG. Which series should I start next: TOS or DS9?

It's called Enterprise because it's 'Murrican tradition to always have an important ship by that name. The original Enterprise was a British warship that got captured by Benedict Arnold on Lake Champlain, who proceeded to delay the fuck out of the redcoats' plan to invade New York long enough for the 'Murricans to build up sufficient resistance to successfully repel the invasion. The latest Enterprise was the first nuclear powered aircraft carrier ever and it got decommissioned last year, but they're working on a new one right now.

nobody in america gives a fuck about the british ship, most people only think of the car rental business or the ship it was named after.

...

They don't have wars because the profit off of everyone else's, user. Rule of acquisition number 34 is war is good for business. 35 is naturally peace is good for business.

Rule of Aquisition #35 nigger: "Peace is good for business."
Granted #34 is "War is good for business."

Really though a light war you aren't directly involved in is a nice way to make a profit. Having your entire country/planet's industry and population mobilised for a total war is not.

yeah that ship was retarded arnold didnt do shit, neither did ticonderoga

theres only one reason the british were kept out of the hudson valley and that was the fucking chain

bro i'm not debating history here. i'm just saying that most of us burgerclaps don't know or care about that shit, and only know of the two i listed.

But there is money in TOS. I watched star trek 6 today and scotty says he bought a new boat.

retconned come TNG.

30 years down the slope

No i'm pretty sure the whole money thing happened between TOS and TNG.

Yes

First reference, Star Trek TNG season 1

never contradict me again

Didn't Star Trek 4 first suggest they don't use money in the future?

A synagogue of satan

The Star Trek series pretty clearly still has a state, and the ships aren't exactly run democratically either, so I would struggle to call it communism merely due to the lack of money. At least in the Leninist sense of a stateless, classless, moneyless society that comes after the workers own and direct the means of production.

Enterprise

Arab. Not a kike.

Israel is in the middle east too.

the federation still uses a currency but they downplay it with that "mankind cares about more important things now" feel good horseshit. i don't give a shit how noble your ideas are nobody is going to wake up one morning and decide their goal in life is to pilot a weaponless freighter into the hotbed of terrorism that was the demilitarized zone for zero monetary compensation.

Since so many of those freighters aren't nationalized functions of the Federation, I'm not sure the no-money aspect comes into play.
