It was pretty obscure and I think it came out in the early 2000s. Here is something kind of unrelated in its place.

Just seems they turned their ire from making a female Doctor Who to a female Bond instead since that seems easier to accomplish. You know, you can just make a female version of the character without riding on the license, unless they are insecure that it wouldn't sell on it's own merit and be treated as a rip-off.

It's pathetic that even with a white male that's not bad for the role, they've made the movies over the last 10 years a bunch of bland shit. I can remember about three or four set pieces from all the Craig pictures off the top of my head, and only two of the villains. If they're neglecting key elements of these films like the action set pieces and villains, what is there to potentially compensate for the studiio's decision?

I'm not disappointed in Sony for screwing a lot of this up because that much is to be expected. I'm mostly disappointed in Barbara Broccoli, Mike G. Wilson, and the people at Danjaq who have only been slightly more protective of their properties than the estate of Dr. Seuss. None of the Hollywood studios, much less Sony, should've ever been at the wheel and this is proven by how the best Bonds have all been independent productions. The studios need to be distributors and nothing more.

Brosnan was the worst Bond. He was a bland pretty boy who brought nothing of interest to his movies. GoldenEye was only good because it was written for Dalton, Tomorrow Never Dies is only good if you turn your brain off and his last two movies are fucking terrible.

Lazenby on the other hand starred in one of the best films in the series and still had that Connery-era machismo to him.

Lazenby was shit. Secret Service was good in spite of him.
