I was 13 when the last of us came out, at the time my I was living with my alcoholic and pill popping mom, and just as alcoholic boyfriend, i would literally wake up in the middle of the night every other day to the sound of my mom and her boyfriend argueing, the sound of bottles breaking, the house shaking, and stuff like that. This was the first game i had ever bought with my own money that i saved up, TLOU was my escape from the mental and physical abuse, I don' t know what it was about the story that resonated so much with me, it might of been the sense of love and care the characters gain for eachother over time that i never got growing up. But anyways I've played TLOU to death, ive beaten it atleast 50 times, its the only game i have a platinum trophy for and I even bought the game a second time when the remaster launched on ps4. I heard about the leaks and people calling part 2 trash but i didnt want to believe it and just ignored the spoilers for as long as i could but i had to find out. I don't think ive ever experienced such a huge betrayal in my life. The game that I've been wanting and waitin for to come out for the past 7 years has been completely ruined by the same people who made the masterpiece that is the first one. How this story even got past the concept phase disgusts me, i literally pre ordered this game in november last year because i was so excited. This literally feels like a knife to the gut. Such a sad direction to take the series
