You realise that Marxist-Leninists don't deny the fact that leaders such as Mao and Stalin made mistakes, what we instead assert (with ample evidence) is that:
1. Marxism-Leninism is the only form of Marxism that has ever successfully prosecuted a revolution
2. This is due to attributes specific to Marxism-Leninism
3. Left-Communism and other opportunistic or utopian ideologies cannot possibly work due to issues inherent to them
Oh, and the "20 million" figure is sheer nonsense. Many did sadly die, but those deaths were more products of the specific situation ML states found themselves in; under threat of aggression from all sides, and from saboteurs within.
