What went wrong with democratic centralism?

What went wrong with democratic centralism?

A question that desperately needs a worthy answer yet all communists have come up with so far is

A. Nothing

B. Braindead regurgitations of fascist propaganda

...

Now thats where democratic Centralism falls apart
right at the start

This.

Russia.

Who is this boy and what did he do the disserve being purged?

Democratic centralism is a fucking stupid idea in general. Ruthless and unabashed criticism of any and all ideas is far too important; pedantry and armchairism are what drives the dialectic forward. It's important to act in unison with people who disagree with you, but it's perfectly possible to do that while simultaneously saying how dumb you think they are and hearing how dumb they think you are.

Lack of accountability to the working class, but this can honestly be said about literally everything in the time of capitalism.

you can have
under democratic centralism, just after voting on something people go by the majority decision
now you're just trolling

Illness and death of Lenin, which threw party hierarchy in turmoil and permanently damaged political system of a newborn republic.

Nothing went wrong with it in China.

Nothing, democratic centralism has proven a highly effective organizational technique.

Stalin wasn't a product of democratic centralism, he was a product of the bureaucratization of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic/Soviet Union in the wake of the Russian Civil War.

Sionista propaganda

It's pretty functionally busted as far as my shitty understanding of it goes. It's meant to unify the party so that factions within the party don't cause schisms, all while keeping a democracy. If there is no different communistic factions within the party, and de facto no other parties, how does the electorate have any meaningful input on party affairs and views.

Correct me if I'm wrong, or if I'm right, but there was democratic accountability.

...

Then how come he got elected all the time and his resignation was denied over and over. There wasn't a "bureaucratic coup".

God I love this OP image. I kinda wish we could resurrect the thread where it was revealed as a "What would have happened if Stalin hadn't purged" thing.
