I learned everything Holla Forums had to offer. Also 4chan has very annoying captchas.

Never browsed Holla Forums, never went full Holla Forumsyp. For a period I was on /int/ a lot, which I guess counts as Holla Forums lite. Me at my very Holla Forumsest was "lol maybe we should have less immigration after all haha i dunno tbh".
I always felt bothered with the way society works but I weren't quite able to formulate why. In my mind until the last couple of years or so, Communism = Oppressive dictatorships and genocide. Got that from school, which is ironic considering how the right wing of my country keeps "calling out" the education system for being "marxist/communist indoctrination" and shit.

Found out about fullchan back in october 2014 thanks to gamergate and decided to investigate. Stuck around initially for the furry board. Was getting pretty fucking sick of Holla Forumsshit at the time so when I saw Holla Forums on the board list I figured it a nice opportunity to shit on them in peace and quiet. Been lurking a lot ever since with varying frequency, occasionally posting. I'm more vocal on halfchan where I spend a lot of time schooling spooked fucks, mostly on /r9k/.

Now that fullchan's furry board is pretty much dead and halfchan got its own I stick around only for Holla Forums.

You know, it was interesting. I went to 4chan (browsed /sci/, Holla Forums, /wg/. and of course Holla Forums) for a time, but I'd never really considered myself a real "channer" or what not. I thought their jokes were funny and I liked the site's anonymous discussion format. I remember when the 8ch migration happened and when to check it out. Found Holla Forums I agreed with a great deal of what people said there (Although I didn't understand a lot of it at the time– being a very young, dumb American, I didn't even really know what "marxism" even was)

And so I browsed both Holla Forums and Holla Forums for a while not even realizing they hated each other. As the "trump-era" started to set in, and myself being a moderate-leftist (you know, what most anons seemed to be before the right became the thing online) found myself disagreeing more and more with what posters were saying on Holla Forums, pissing me off. I also realized that their jokes had unironic beliefs behind them, and realized I needed to pick a side. The left's arguments made a lot of sense to me, so I chose Holla Forums and now I'm a commie bastard and proud.

I admit, some of them are pretty bad, but I'll pick them over stale-ass Holla Forums memes any fucking day

I'm not shitting you, there was a time where I hated everything and everyone around me: I hated my family, I hated the music in the radio, I hated my coworkers and daydreamed of the day where a fascist leader would rise or a republican led American government would invade Mexico and cleanse the country. It was a frustration that gnawed at me everyday, wondering why we couldn't be as developed as first world countries, have nobel prizes and safe streets and famous universities; I jumped at every opportunity to hate everything Mexican.

There had to be another solution than just giving up on Mexico as permanently tainted and irredeemable just because of the color of their skin, condemned to be killed offf and replaced with anglos or the chinese for the betterment of humanity, right?

Then Trump came up and Holla Forums started showing off the full extent of their retardation. They abandoned any attempt at having a moral high ground in favor of their idpol. Yes, they really were conned by a corrupt real estate mogul.

So I came to Holla Forums around late 2015/early 2016 because it was being promoted on 4/pol/. At first I didn't agree with a lot of things here but holy fuck. It was so refreshing having actual discussions that didn't just devolve to "fuck niggers lmao". So I decided to read and here I am now, still rehabilitating and learning to not hate people.

They're incomparable. Holla Forums used to be one big joke (and for the most part still is, but with a bit too many genuine retards thrown in the mix). I found myself starting to browse Holla Forums less and less around mid-2015. The endless Trump/neocon shilling and Kekistan shit is so damned tiresome. I remember when saying "Neither side gives a shit about you" was fairly common knowledge there, and now it gets you labeled a shill. I really miss the early 2000s when 4chan was just an anime/video game fansite. The 2016 election was easily the worst thing to ever happen to that place.

I've browsed it since like 2011, though I've always remained a socdemish liberal. I stopped browsing from like 2014-2016 when shit was starting to deteriorate, and was around to see it become literally Holla Forums during the election. I pretty much only visit now for my syrian war news, major political news, and occasionally drinking /ptg/'s tears when appropriate.
Being honest it is beyond saving at this point, it's basically Holla Forums tier retardation with 2/3 of the board being conspiracy theories or shitposting, while the actual politics threads that pop up are either lightly posted in or awash in cultists or teenagers.
