"Stalin Killed 100 Trillion People!", The Comedy Movie

Watch trailer at your own risk: m.youtube.com/watch?v=kPpXFnHoC-0

Call me a tankie, but whoever directed this is now part of the lineup for my fantasy firing squad. Might add the cast members to the wall too judging by how "well" they play their roles in the film.

At least it's satire, if it was a serious movie then i wouldn't doubt in shooting myself even tho i got past my tankie phase

Revisionist!

I still get called a tankie for some reason tho

why are you getting so triggered over a satire movie? last i checked, this wasn't pol and we werent sjws reeing at things we dont like.

Post some Socialist comedies instead

It looks much better than the Winston Churchill movie at least

why do you call yourself afroplasm?

...

I see nothing wrong with this

...

it'll be propaganda but it'll at least be funny

Not even tankie but passing this off because it's a satire is pretty stupid. It's obviously implying Stalin was some big bad evil guy that did literally everything wrong. This movie will pretty much reconfirm liberal ideology. Not mad, just post-sad.

Look. It don't give a fuck if it's american dog propaganda. It has Steve buscemi as Chruščёv.

maybe they can get him to do pepsi ads in his khruschev character

The opening was pretty cringy, but it doesn't appear to be too much of a propaganda piece. To say the cast should be shot is a massive stretch, to say the least.

So guys, is Dr. Strangelove the only funny political comedy?

Well I am an ML who likes like Stalin and still will probably watch it, seems funny

Or alternatively none of you understand what satire is and have about as much humor in your body as a bloodless cadaver. This is Holla Forums levels of getting triggered over low-brow historical fiction.

I mean its not like people are going around going "stalin's dead time to partaaay." Ultimately all the people who had to actually interact with stalin lived in non-inconsiderable fear of him so for the purposes of audience understanding "a nation in fear of one man" serves well enough to contextualize the chaos when suddenly he's dead.

What did Khrushchev do in his time as chairman except promote the nuclear family and let a bit of western pop culture be consumed by the Soviet people?

I've glosses over his reforms and they really don't seem that extreme to me.

Is that a fucking boot on his head?

Leftcoms get the bullet too.

the dialectics pistol doesn't work after numerous attempts, and the backup dialectics pistol also malfunctions?

That's cuz leftcoms don't even try to understand theory.

LOL and utter silence from the Tankies

tankies btfo

Did he even implement any economic changes to the way The USSR was run? The way people talk bout his reforms makes it sound like he turned The Soviet Union into a 2017 China-tier """communist""" country minutes after Stalin's death.

This.

how could you betray ==leftcom gang== like this

I'm leftleftcom

I'm not a tankie but it should be illegal to disrespect Stalin tbh.

What I meant is, it's further normalizing the idea that communism is bad. It's propaganda disused as a comedy. Probably a little tinfoil here but I think these movies are a response to millennials who are shown to be anti-capitalist

...

This, but unironically.

Maybe wait until the movie comes out before you say that? I mean, the film makers and writers are more than likely pro capitalist, but the film may be genuinely funny and not be an overt ==COMMUNISM=EVIL== ==CAPITALISM=GOOD== propaganda film
