Why has communism been commidifed and integrated into the capitalist system, while fascism has not? Communism killed tens of millions of people, but does not get the bad rap of fascism.
All sorts of communist imagery is commidifed. You'll see plenty of pencil necks walking around with Che t-shirts in LA. Try walking around with a Hitler t-shirt and you'll get stabbed or imprisoned depending on where you are.

Because fascism is for betavirgins who want to kill most of europe over getting cucked by a jewess.

The average radical lefty looks worse and is more beta than the average 90iq neo Nazi.

Communism has been commodified but not integrated, fascism has been integrated but not commodified. Neoliberalism encourages class collaboration and merges state and corporate power.

Sure, petal.

Sons of campagne socialists have loads of money, white trash suffering from opiod addiction have none. And even if they had some, they'll all spend it on meth.

Only tens? It's usually in trillions.

"I think anyone who buys a t-shirt of Che has gotta be cool. If I see someone with a Che t-shirt, I think, 'He's got good taste'. Benicio del Toro,

It's been just as commidifed, but most of the people who buy into it might just realize how cringy it is to wear in public. Still, look at the LARPers at Charlottesville - the nazi swag is out there, it's just covered by the shame of the owner. Most of the time.

I'm pretty sure I've actually seen more right-wing stuff worn around than I have lefty symbols in my personal life, but I've pretty much always lived in rural areas, urban might have the inverse.

How?

Do you have a single fact to back that up?

As a sympathizer of communism I also ask myself this. I mean it's incredible. I even bought a "communist party" t shirt in Amsterdam back when I was not friendly toward communism ( I still wear it tho I don't think it gives communism a bad rep) but my "the killers" shirt with hitler as one of the beatles caused MUCH more discomfort, a lot of people asked me stuff like gee is that hitler holy shit. I acutally am amazed at how much despised the figure of hitler is lol. Still am a yuro, a friend of mine had an uncle make paintings of stalin, totally different from burgerland, I can see how in a way hitler was obviously the bad guy because he killed a lot of people. But isn't capitalism supposed to cpmmodify everything?? Then why not facism????

Number two is flawed in that it doesn't give the best example and opens the door for a lot of pontificating over droughts, instead of, say, being a painter falling off a step ladder and breaking your neck under communism.

Next time you come to Amsterdam stay out of the tourist shops.

Because if the worst thing you can do to communism is commodifing it and making fun of it so that it's not a threath, fascism is just proof that capitalism doesn't work so silence it

Lol man tbh it was not even a tourist shop it was a trashy street vendor but hey at 10 euros you don't find cool shirts like that where I live italy

Ah its a double trap, fugg

Nice and succint.

No it hasn't been just as commidifed or intergrated. Most of your social/cultural policies - gay rights, transgenderism, multiracialism, and the rest of it has been adopted by the system without a hick up. Secondly the left at large does not disassociate itself from you loonie lefties. While the right at large is hounded to disavow the far-right.

Have the courage to be honest with yourself. The far lefts ideals, most of them, have been sucked up and implemented by capitalism and the state.

wew. At least read the FAQ before posting.

Nonsense. In what way has fascism been integrated? I'll give you this, there has been fusion with the state and capitalism, but it's for the benefits of capitalism and not the nation. Fascism is supposed to control capitalism. We have the reverse. Secondly, fascism is primarily about culture and the social. In what meaningful sense do we have fascistic values being promoted in society? We don't. We have the far lefts values (except for economics) being promoted by the system.

Fascism is about violence, communism in not inherently violent. Wearing a shirt with Che is no different than wearing a shirt with General Sherman on it.

???

Have you ever even read Marx or Lenin?

Read Zizek.

You did a great job in pointing out the contradictions of capitalism and why it doesn't make sense.

???

Contradictions of fascism*

Abolishing it is less violent than perpetuating it.

???

I don't support unrestrained capitalism.

...

Stopped reading there.

What left are you talking about? And who are the loonie lefties? The neo-liberal faux-republicans in the democratic party absolutely despise anyone to the left or Reagan as far as I can tell.

Responding to images with commodified right-wing paraphernalia… It has obviously been commodified. TBF though I wasn't the one saying it was integrated, just commodified.

Notice how all of those things make for a more cohesive work force.
What you're noticing is the influence of neo-liberal business-class workplace sensitivity filtering into public life because neo-liberal business-class people run both parties.

Like unions, and class consciousness, and democratic workplaces, and redistribution of weal… oh right, all of that is getting worse. Looks like the only parts of what you're calling the left which have been integrated into culture are the parts which have a positive impact for business. Funny how that works.

Oh sorry, you're right. No, that user is an idiot. Communism is violent.

...

The far lefts values (particularly from the 60s), minus the economics, pervade society. The only point of contention is economics, that's why Bernie got shit from Hillary. The rest of your values got commidifed by capitalism. There is a sweet irony in their.

This is one of reasons why you're all wasting your time promoting degenerscy like transgenderism and all the other cultural issues. Capitalism will simply absorb it and make itself stronger.

...

No shit. The things this guy thinks are left wing (gay rights, transgenderism, multiracialism) are just people not being dicks to other people based on their race or sex preference - it literally has nothing to do with politics (theoretically) but right wingers are (and have been) so far in the fucking dark ages that somehow another person not wanting to be discriminated against for something they can't really change about themselves is TOO DIFFERENT, and forcing rightards to be civil to their fellow citizens is just asking too much of them.

Also

You can keep denying it mate, but that's how it is. Even the most apolitical people today will repeat leftist ideas from the 60s if questioned. Specifically in western Europe and America. Eastern Europe is different.

Nice strawman. There are actual consequences from normalizing deviant behaviour.

...

Your economics is only a means to an end to achieve sociatal change. Capitalism has achieved lots of your goals for you.

Leftist ideas from the sixties? What like situationism? No apolitical person is going to be repeating their ideas. I don't know how many times you can be told that liberals aren't leftists

Nope. I've already made it very clear that I'm not talking about the economics aspect of your ideology.

This is how Holla Forums actually reasons.(USER WAS CUCKED FOR THIS POST)

Even most liberals will agree that communism was at worse misguided but ultimately are sympathetic to its goals. The crimes and problems associated with communism are generally recognized as perversions.

Fascism on the other hand is seen as abhorrent inherently, it wasn't a good or well meaning idea that was misapplied or went awry, it was pure shit from its inception.

That's why everybody hates your shitty spooky nonsense while seeing communism in a totally different light.

Know the difference, newfriend. It could save your life.

Not being a dick to gay people, black people, trans people, etc, is not asking a lot from you, user.

Also, care to explain how that was in fact a straw man? I don't think I've misrepresented your opinion, I've merely pointed out that it's unnecessarily hateful. The issues you're upset about aren't inherently political. They're only associated with the left because people who organized around right-wing ideology had a thing for throwing people who were TOO DIFFERENT into ovens and shit.

Why are you so butthurt that capitalism has been more socially progressive than real life communism? Do you want to find the most culturally right wing societies in Europe? Just look at the old commie states. That old style communism kept the east out of capitalism, so they didn't get the dose of leftist fun we have got since the 60s. But your fellow travellers are already hard at work to flood countries like Poland with third world filth, feminism, trannies, etc.(USER WAS FORCE-FED ESTROGEN PILLS FOR THIS POST)

This is how Holla Forums actually reasons

Our ideology is centered around economics, so you're not talking about our ideology. You're just talking about the cultural issues on which we agree with liberals, and then using those points of agreement to try and paint liberalism and leftism as basically the same so that you can paint your own ideology as the underdog. Your entire argument is based on a self-serving set of assumptions and rhetorical tricks.

Imagine being this much of a brainlet.

It hasn't achieved our goal at all you fucking dunce.

Why are you Holla Forumsyps such culture dead-enders

I wonder why that might be……..HMMMMMMM

This. The only part of the "left" that has been integrated and commodified was the parts that left them with a bigger workforce that could push wages down.

'Loony leftist' is literally the smear invented to denigrate left labour in the UK, by the 'centrists' of the party and the general right.

The violence is coincidental, not a central tenent like in fascism. We don't need the violence to 'make strong men' or whatever, we need violence because there is no other way to radically change the society.

of course you don't, but capitalism doesn't stop being capitalism because you or herr führer wants it to

-Karl Marx, Das Kapital

this
liberals think communism would be great, they just think it is impossible to achieve, the 'fascist utopia' on the other hand is easily achievable but absolutely terrible and horrific. inb4 fascists are good bois who just want to be left alone - the fetishisation of violence and power politics more or less guarantees aggressive war and state violence.
