Is the DPRK conplicit in the Rohingya genocide (Myanmar)?

I was doing research on this conflict and who the main players are and found these articles:

mmtimes.com/national-news/16521-myanmar-keeps-cordial-relations-with-north-korea.html

reuters.com/article/us-northkorea-myanmar-usa-idUSKBN1A62PG

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foreign_relations_of_Myanmar#North_Korea

So Myanmar and the DPRK have "warm and friendly" relations, both of them have military agreements and this has been going on for a while. Keep in mind that the Rohingya genocide began in 2012.

Both Russia and China are supporters of Myanmar as well.

Wouldn't they get in big trouble if they'd send even a single soldier abroad? How many military campaigns have they participated in? Did they, for example, ever join the USSR in afghanistan?

TANKIES BTFO

On a side note, has anyone asked Roo what he thinks of this entire thing?

Only the west can be imperialist remember?

I'm not sure TBH but it looks like the DPRK has maintained its relations with Myanmar despite the conflict. The conflict is over five years old anyway.

It's not clear they are facing a genocide, it is more likely a temporary reprisals for an attack by their fighters against the government. Beyond that, you'd have to show what the DPRK actually did to be complicit - what arms they delivered, what support and so on.
A much better case can be made that the US is complicit in the engineered famine in Yemen. They have provided direct support to the Saudi bombings.

US being an asshole nation doesn't justify the DPRK's wrongdoings.

The other half of the post indicated you have not found such wrongdoings (in Burma). Some vague "cooperation exists" is not enough.

If they maintain military relationships with Myanmar, then they're complicit. It's identical to the companies who do business with Israel.

You can be sure the MSM will qualify one as being an example of being an accomplice and the other not even tough it's basically the same thing…

Yet you made a thread about this and not about the US. And I'm sure you would never ever do such a thing. You have a clear agenda here, you are trying to smear the DPRK. Why did you single out the DPRK and not the other dozens of countries Myanmar has warm relations with?

Israel have been selling them weapons too, apparently. can't wait til tankie retards wake up to the reality about so-called already existing socialism.

Geopolitics is a funny thing that requires A LOT of nuance.

China and Russia have given Myanmar a shitload of support in the UN despite both calling for an end to the violence (they certainly don't want to see foreign troops anywhere close to their sphere of influence).

Wouldn't surprise me if true. Isolated states make alliances with each other because that's all they can do.

Lel. It's a false flag. They were caught setting fire to their own villages.

Proof?

Watcha doin' Mohammad?

Assuming the genocide is real the DPRK hasn’t sent a single soldier over there.

just what the fuck does that mean? it's a much lower bar than, say, involvement, or material support. what is this shit? just wanted a thread with "DPRK" and "genocide" in the title?
shut the fuck up

Fuck off Jason.

So has Pakistan.

Mudslimes are simply being used as tools for Saudi and ZOG Occupied Government imperialism, as they always are.

...

And this time not even Israel providing the regime with arms is going to stop them!

What is Rojava?

question here is why is the goverment kiling these people?

buddhist supremacy

DPRK, China, Russia, Pakistan, Israel, India, everyone is involved in some way or another.

#notallbuddhist

Kurds are a democratic insurgency fighting against ISIS, Myanmar is a despotic government possibly committing genocide. But I'm not surprised you can't tell the difference tbh.

No.
