Why do dumb leftists think abolishing capitalism/class will somehow "awaken" some kind of motivation in proles? Like just because I'm no longer a salary slave I'll be able to become a fucking professional flute player or something. Do you guys not see what the average westerner does in their spare time? They sit. Eat. And watch TV. Most people don't have the motivation or fucks to give to pursue some kind of oppressed talent now that they have the time.

People just want to sit around looking at screens all day, and there's nothing wrong with that.

Most people work long, dull hours under capitalism and don't have the time or energy to engage in fulfilling hobbies and productive leisure activity.

Actually, if you had free time in your life you could pick up skill if everything didn't cost money.

It's because it is the most affordable thing many can do without spending energy and time outside of work. Why do you think people from affluent neighborhoods are going outside, riding a bike, eating out at expensive restaurants, traveling wherever and whenever they want in the world, going for a stroll in the park, learning to play music and sitting to enjoy other musicians in a theater or plaza? They don't have to work hard or worry about money as much as a guy who works 2 jobs living in an apartment. The people who you are talking about are either on welfare or don't have time to do anything beside live to work so he won't be homeless.

The inherent laziness in human nature would be suppressed using sate force and any expression of laziness would be oppressed. The state and education would set a mindset that values learning, reading, writing, and positive, creative, and non-distructive forms of self-expresion.
