Mead and sake if money's no object. Scotch or Crown Royal on the rocks if I'm at a bar. What I mostly drink is local beer (not microbrewery shit, canned swill made near where I live so it's cheap af).

Rum, Whiskey, Aquavit, Cognac, Beer, Wine, and, well, basically everything I guess.
Not a fan of mixed drinks though.
Oh and Sambucca is shit too (Although it's possible that I've only had shit Sambucca).

Beer usually but I've had a real taste for whiskey lately, especially Irish whiskey. I also occasionally drink cheap wine because I find it has the best taste to alcohol volume ratio, so it is great to get smashed at parties. I'm also addicted to ceasars, which for all you non leafs out there is tomato/clam juice + pickle juice + Worcester sauce + Tabasco + vodka.

It's also great that my local brewery has a logo like a communist country, pic related.

I've been drinking 211 since I was 14. A kid in a group home introduced me to it, because they drug tested, and it was the only way he could get fucked up. A whole lotta dreamless sleep, waking up dehydrated with a dry mouth, and a bladder that feels like its going to burst.

I've only had tasty ttequila a couple of times in my life. It seems that it's mostly the shitty kind that undrinkable without numbing yourself with salt and lemon that we get here. Not that there's really anything wrong with that. No way It's be something I'd list as a preffered drink. It does turn you into a complete madman though.

In the past year I've developed a nasty case of IBS and something as carbonated, yeasty, and alcoholic as beer probably isn't ideal for the condition.

But I need to drink to stay sane. I've taken to shochu: a Japanese spirit. It's way better than sake (which is disgusting imo.) About 1/4th the calories of vodka too.

There's a few local beers I'm quite fond of. That's my usual go-to for weekend drinking. I try not to drink during the week anymore, but it happens from time to time.

I usually keep at least one bottle of decent wine around for special occasions or meals that really call for a good glass of wine, though I stock cheaper wines for cooking. I'm partial to merlot, though I'm not exceptionally picky.

I'm not much for hard liquor anymore. I started to get horrible hangovers from even just a shot or two, and that was after a few years of seasoned alcoholism drinking, which is partly why I quit drinking during the week. I'm much more eager to use whiskey in my cooking than I am to actually drink it.
