Generation Z

Who are they? Are they actually becoming indoctrinated on youtube? How will they and their avant-garde memes shape the culture to come?

I dont know, too young to tell, some are alt reich faggots and others are liberal turds

I'm literally 18 years old. Ask me anything.
I went to school with Gen Z and some people consider me Gen Z.

Bookchin or Lenin

Meant for

I don't know jack shit yet. I've only read wage labor and capital, and only because I found this board.

Keep reading fam dont get too sectarian

Good start! Try Value, price and profit next if you want more of the Marxist basics.

This.

Whats that?

Yes. In my estimates, GenZ will, primarily, produce a mix of corporate liberals and "anti-SJW" right-wingers if the current state of things continues.
This is why I take some offense to the idea that "YouTube doesn't matter". inb4 hoochie reply I see the effects of the propaganda distributed there regularly. It must be counteracted by some form of anti-capitalist sentiment. You have no idea how many of these kids are under the direct influence of channels like, for instance, The Fine Brothers.
This is not to speak of older viewers, just people in roughly the 19 and below range.

Maybe TFB wasn't the best example, but they do promote excessive consumerism a lot I think, and are just all around scummy.

So far they seem radical and stray from the common path. Be it far left or far right.

Eh, tbh the right-wing youtubers are declining and living through an absurd Trump presidency will probably push many "anti-sjw" people towards the far left imo.

Even if this is the case, we must amplify it.

Millennials were conservative too when they were young. Once they had to actually try to compete on the job market that shit changed pretty much instantly.

Basically every source of "gen Z is right wing!" has been terrible methodology at best, frequently outright lies. We don't actually have basically any good data on gen z's politics.

is there any empirical evidence on this besides the meme about a poll saying Gen Z would have voted for Trump a lot?

Where you are from? And people on your school were inclined to what kind of ideology?

I'm 18 too, but I'm from Brazil, and things are pretty fucked right here, however if anyone want to know how is the Gen Z on Brazil you can ask anything.

I know porky has been throwing tons of money into propaganda down there and Dilma being impeached probably was shitty for the left. How classcucked are Brazilian kids these days? Is it as bad as it seems?

One thing needs to be clear, the left-wing parties on Brazil are porkies (most of them at least), so do not count on them. I wouldn't say that the Left here is falling, mainly because a lot of people blame the party of Dilma, PT (Our labour party), and still they have a lot of support (the polls show Lula of PT winning the 2018 election here). The problem is that some people are blaming the Left for the shitty condition of our country and are going to full Populism, but is a minority still, that's why the right-wing parties are spending a lot of money in propaganda to change the perception that they are the majority (sounds familiar?).
About the kids being classcucked, I would say that they are pretty cucked, but I wouldn't blame them, the education here is really trash, so most of people blame the players not the game.

Afaik it is pretty mixed. Our town was 50-50 in the 2016 election. I definitely saw more Confederate flags than Bernie/Hillary posters though.

But what people on your demographic age think about everything that is happening on the US ?

We are anti-capitalist.

Where do you live?

From my experience, the majority of them are what even Fox News would call Alt-Right.

I don't know what the fuck led them to this, unless they're completely repelled by the news/media. And it's not just White's that are like this. It's like it's every race for themselves, much more so than it was when I was in highschool

This is in Oregon btw. Can't speak for other states

Are you hot?
What do you weigh?
Do you find you and your peer group are shorter or taller than Gen Y on average?
What are the best, cheapest dance clubs?

No you aren't. Corporatism is still a kind of capitalism, even if it isn't the same kind of capitalism as we have now.

It pretty much is that also, though.

It's a fucking meme based on one or two shitty polls. Some will be liberal and some will be conservative, just like Gen Y. Also all of Gen Z is 2000-present and is still under 18, in spite of what post-1995 special snowflakes on Holla Forums like to say to try to avoid the "millennial" label.

rageafterstorm pls go.

google "hipster girl" and this pic is one of the results

Not the same poster, but Texanon here.
Almost everyone my age was luke warm Bernie supporters. I know 3 people near my age who voted for Trump, but one was just edgy, one is a proud female Holla Forumsyp confederate flag and all, and one was more republican lite. None of the Trump supporters I knew voted, and the Bernie supporters I know barely turned out for the primary, and even fewer voted in the general election.
Leftcoms will be triggered but I went out and voted anyway. In the primary for Bernie, also convincing a few Republicans to vote for him rather than in the Republican primary, then in the general for Hillary please forgive me as at the time I was a **succdem* and figured she was better than Trump. It was either her or Stein, and Stein's pick for VP really turned me off to voting for her. Plus the whole wifi causes cancer and vaccines cause autism bullshit she said.
Hindsight being 20/20 I would have voted for Stein or wrote in Marx, Engels, or Lenin.
t. not a tankie

Gen Z bourgeoisie have been radicalized. Everyone else is fairly complacent.

It doesn't matter in the end, if they're not on our side they get the bullet.

Blur the lines give or take a year or so, but this is pretty much what defines them
Baby Boomer - 1943 - 1959
Gen X - 1960 - 1979
Gen Y (Millennial) - 1980 - 1995
Gen Z - 1995 - 2010s

rural, suburban, or urban?

...

I have never seen that name for Gen Z in my life until now.

There's a reasonable leftist Gen Z presence, but most are larping MLs because its edgy and they can post Stalin memes. Just going by facebook

That kid bears a disturbing resemblance to Sceneable.

Generation Z will be ever worst than milenials. Z's have born with flashy smartphones, super fast internet, idiotic memes, the internet being dominated by facebook and twitter.
They will be souless, complete devoided fo any kindness. It will be even worst when Z's start to reach positions of power…they will be the real acelaritionists i'm telling you.

Here's why corporations want to replace europeans with muslims.

Instead of Islam, a consumer brand can take the place to be worshiped.

This is why when gen z whites will fight against gen z muslims, they will actually fight against corporations.

4/10 better than usual Holla Forums crosspost

From the looks of it, technologically driven alienation is making them mentally incapacitated. That bodes ill no matter how you slice it - it will make them less able to reproduce capital, and less able to organize collectively. Just a bad crop of people.

18 here, and I've hardly seen any right-wingers, and no one even close to being nazis. Most of the people I've met have been some variety of lib or socdem, a few of them are book-less socialists, and all of them hate politicians. My generation seems off to a good start

Nah, poor people tend to be more brand loyal because they are more alienated from the means of production. The more educated you are the more you're able to realized every commodity is pretty much the same.

Because they can't afford to buy more than one brand, famalam

They can buy from different brands even if they can only buy from one.

Working class = conservative socialists
Spoiled middle class = leftypol liberals

That's the reality of the 21st century.

The growing white nationalism in the west is simply the working class rising up against the oligarchy and their goons (neo-leftists, neo-liberals, neo-cons, antifa).

The future is bright!

BTW you americans are absolutely retarded. I just wanted to put that out there.

The German government is actively suppressing smashies over the G20 riots. You could include Nazbol in there and (literally, in the case of Russia's regional politics) be less wrong.

t. i refuse to update my ideas as reality begins to disfavour what i want

All slightly overweight pre-pubecent boys tend to look alike.

White nationalism is more of a US thing. It's more civic nationalism is Yurop.

Recently turned 18, the few friends I have are either "non-political" but lean left, liberal Bernie supporters, and one full communism guy. Only exceptions are one friend who went from lib to conservative libertarian due to getting converted from ifunny memes(kek) and another bourgie friend who went from Soviet LARPer to traditionalist nationalism, which was sooo surprising.

bumpo

long island.

idk it's really hard to tell with kids at school. i'd say out of the people I know well, 10% are reactionary, another 10% are liberals, and 10% are succdem. the other 70% don't know enough about politics or don't care.

lmao rebel flags in long island, piss off.

People change a lot when they're young. larpers are never in it from their understanding of principles

My little cousin is a middle-schooler, ask me things to ask him about politics. I'll be back once he's done shitting or something.

Supid sexy fascist.

My friends are Sucdems, dislike politicians and they're the kind of dudes that really worry about the environment, tons of potential for radicalization

How old is he ? If he is too young ask him what does he think about Trump (easy question) If he is a teenager or something like that ask him what he thinks about capitalism.
If you want to go full data mining ask him what his friends thinks.

The study that said that was written and conducted so poorly that the right wing argument is unproven

Leaf here, never met a real trump supporter other than an ironic one. I see a lot of gullible liberals who hate "teh sjws" and could easily be turned to succdem or demsoc but nothing more than that. My younger brother is a petit bourgeois capitalist but I don't think other kids care that much about money.

It's bullshit.
The questions asked include social things like

The studies I've seen were mostly conducted in the UK which is becoming increasingly less ethnically British with each new generation. No one ever seems to put two and two together that ideologies from poorer countries love socialist policies that redistribute wealth but aren't as liberal socially and no one should expect Muslims and Africans immigrants to be understanding of things such as gender fluidity and sex positivity.

The same thing can be said about certain parts of America. Good luck explaining to the sons and daughters of strict Catholic mexican parents that gays are cool. It's not a coincidence that a state like California has seen a spike in the Hispanic population and social services at the same time. And all the while liberals in California can't comprehend the cock block they received when those same immigrants voted against a gay marriage bill.

Source: I'm the son of a Hispanic immigrants and my family genuinely hates gays and black people. So you can imagine what kind of household I was raised in. Social leftists really shot themselves in the foot here.

So yes, certain blocks of Gen Z are being radicalized to the hard right. Same thing can be said for the left. But most people are apolitical at best and just go with the corporate approved flavor of leftism. Poor people love hand outs my family are those people and will always vote for left because of it. Don't confuse this with any of us actually being hard left or hard right however.
