The Spartacist League is a cult. They are the second worst ¨communist¨ organization in the US, the first being CP-USA. If you are interested in Trot organizations in the US, I would look into Socialist Alternative and International Socialist Organization. SAlt is bigger and gets more done than ISO, but collaborates with social democrats.

Also you don't have a leftist to be internationalist, there are just as many if not more internationalist that follow right wing economics and/or ideology
