Reading comprehension isn't one of Holla Forums's strong points, you make a perfect example of this. I browsed Holla Forums before I discovered Holla Forums. And I was getting really tired of it towards the end. They didn't understand what truly happened during the holocaust. They didn't understand why WWII started. They didn't understand economics or even economics during Hitler's time. They couldn't even explain why Jews help each other, or why they are trying to dismantle white power relations. It all boiled down to stupid determinism and meme-tier understanding of history and psychology. And I am not even talking about threads that were concerned with current events. Endless spamming of Trump threads and anti-shill threads. No interesting discussion. Lame ass Holla Forums tier template threads about white women, niggers, and sjw's. News threads were spammed with stale memes, instead of discussing the event itself. I remember that it became so bad that the only interesting thread left was a thread including old screencaps from the time of /new/ and early Holla Forums. The time when it was still reminiscent of an imageboard. The only thing it had going for itself was trolling the liberal shitheads and investigating corrupt politicians. If you compare Holla Forums to any other board on Holla Forums, or even 4chan, you will realize that Holla Forums has turned into reddit, and is more concerned with ideological reproduction than discussing said ideology.

As for Holla Forums. When I first came here, it had a entirely different feeling. A lot more comfortable, less hectic, less filled with anger, and filled with a more direct discussion with other anons instead of collective meme spouting. There might not be the same level of activity or dedication. I do, however, believe that it doesn't matter. This place feels like an imageboard.
