Not yet but dammit, he's trying!!!!!!

dude is getting large

Large and in charge
As big as a barge

Yes

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaesong_Industrial_Region
this is quite literally state capitalism

It's closed

by the south koreans if it was up to comrade kim it still be open and the workers would still be doing sweatshop labour for south korean capitalists

You do realize that North Korea is subjected to economic terrorism against the entire world while barely having much fertile soil themselves right

yes.

Then you also realize that it is natural for such a country to grasp for opportunities which could improve their economic situation? Most of the economy of the DPRK is either centrally planned (state owned key industries) or cooperatively organized on a local level. I don't care if they need a bunch of special economic zones that make up an insignificant percentage of the GDP if they need that to function. Are they supposed to produce smartphones and flatscreens all by themselves?

during his visit in 2013.

The former NBA (National Basketball Association) star described the life of Mr Kim, who he referred to as a “good friend” at the time, as a “seven-star” party of endless cocktails and jet-skis following a week spent on the leader’s private island.
"It's [the island] like going to Hawaii or Ibiza, but he's the only one that lives there
telegraph.co.uk/travel/destinations/asia/north-korea/articles/Inside-the-luxury-world-of-Kim-Jong-un/

death to all authoritarians

The beach ressort and the ski ressort is actually open for public. The Kims have some fortified holiday house somewhere, like literally every leader in the world. Kim Jong Uns approval rating are actually quite high and the living quality has been increasing steadily since he took over, so he can't be that bad.

Revolutions are always authoritarian, even anarchist ones.

NK is literally the definition of a deformed workers' state.

sauce
tbh theres a bunch of shit i could say against kim jong un but im not sure whats true and waht propaganda anymore

this is a liberal tier if you use violence your as bad as them, it ignores the fact the revolutions create a more authorian society and some create a freer society. it is not authoritarian to restrain opressors from opressing

not a fan for personal reasons

*some revolutions

It's in the article. If it was a private ressort, they would have mentioned it in big, bold letters since they've done so in concerns to the holiday house. The article links other articles itself which also talk about it being a tourist ressort.

And who's the oppressor and who's the oppressed? Revolutions are always authoritarian by definition, it's one group of people enforcing their will onto another group of people, no matter if you claim to have the moral highground. Read Engels Anti-Dühring.

what if im enforcing my will to not have their will enforced?
at very least, my actions are less authoritarian than they are especially if the post revolutionary society is freer

...

Depends on what that "we" is the "our" refers to. Edgy "feels > reals" liberals larping as Anarchists? Definetly not, no.
Ideologically educated antiimperialist Marxist Leninists? Absolutely, yes.

Freedom are not just negative freedoms but also positive freedoms. The word is extremly obsfucating in general. Again, read Engels.

I know this is a shitpost, but Seoul is cleaner than most Western cities.

The secret? They replaced drug problems with prostitution!

my fucking sides

how much of this actaully happens

...

Yes.

Physically literally kill yourself

wow…… holy sit,

i meant to write the sentence 'some revolutions create a more authoritarian soicety" i lefty out "some"

You know Kim John un is secretly a liberal right? He's been quietly transforming the black market in NK to a more full fledged market system. Most restaurants you see in the NK capital are now privately owned, and they just need to "register as a government business" which is basically meaningless at this point.

please don't say that to people

The Kims are getting worse as time goes on

Kim Il-sung was cool

No.

...

Fuck this world.

No. Fuck him.

Can someone explain to me why tankies exist and what is psychologically that causes them to kneejerk defend everything that people hate the left for?

You realize North Koreans can travel to countries that don't block N. Korean passports aka only PRC?

The same news platforms that spread NK propaganda report on N. Korean tourists in China lmao

what did he mean with this

They literally renounced Marxism.
They are more an hereditary monarchy than a bourgeois state.
That's right, he took a step back and went feudal instead of communist.

...

...

Marxism is presupposition to Juche - it's a shield to economic sanctions.

Next you'll be telling me that the military under Songun isn't the amalgamation of civil service bureaus with military training.

Ah, right. So when non-whites serve the interests of their own race it's good because it's 'revolutionary patriotism' (rather than evil, evil nationalism of white people with similar concerns). Thanks for clearing that up, traitor.

The Soviet Union, the DDR, and Yugoslavia all shared similar traits within the framework of Socialist Patriotism - the difference being that North Korea is of >99% Korean lineage.

If you're having issues internally with white guilt or whatever mental impediment is forcing you to mischaracterize something so basic it'd be better to talk to a shrink not spit out a bombastic half-monologue.

Fuck off retard.

Hmmmm good argument, mate. You've literally made my point for me, ie - it's fine when they do it, terrible when we do (and worthy of truly hilarious mockery). Traitor.

What am I mischaracterising? It's fine for North Korea to remain North Korean - it isn't fine for any white nation (ie. vastly superior nations to which you owe everything) to remain white. Traitor.

There is no difference between nationalism and patriotism.

There's intermingling between China, Japan and Korean ethnicities due to the historical conditions hence (this is East Asia not Central Europe or the States - a nation of immigrants) it's >99% of Korean lineage - you're mischaracterizing the ethnic makeup of N. Korea today - then using that to manipulate the patriotism of North Korea as ethno-nationalism.

marxists.org/archive/lenin/works/1914/dec/12a.htm

Lenin was wrong.

no he wasn't.

No, he's failing hard and it either leads me to believe he's just bad at socialism or he's just a selfish paranoid dictator who doesn't care about the interest of the people.

When his people revolt capitalism might sadly be imported because muh better liberties but I hope not

In what way?

Do you honestly believe that the North Koreans would abide the race-replacement project ongoing in the west (and supported by you)? Do you honestly not realise that being 'post-racial' is utterly provincial: being a viewpoint held by a small fraction of the population of the west (generally the elite, many of whom are hypocritical and self-serving jews)? Do you honestly not realise that, for example, the whole non-white world looks down on blacks?

Race is a spook.

youtube.com/watch?v=tErCZKR_54U

I can't tell if you're mocking lefties or are actually being sincere. Regular users do come out with such shit, so the latter wouldn't surprise me. Again, this is an utterly provincial attitude (one borne out of material wealth) that masquerades as being one of supreme sophistication.

Race is never going to cease to exist - nor is it ever going to cease to matter.

Provincial, provincial, provincial. Take your head out of your favourite academic's arse, and smell the roses, retard.

Oh, nice job ignoring my question re. the North Koreans btw.

Again, do you think ANY non-European group will ever 'embrace diversity' in the way that we are literally being forced to??????

Race isn't real and it doesn't matter and you give away how stupid you are when you say otherwise.

Oh, and btw - if you lads had read your Stirner, you'd know he considered Europeans superior to other races.

Stirner disagrees tbh. Race was far from a spook in his mind, my reddit-tier adolescent friend.

Kiddo, go outside of were k-pop stars live
youtu.be/xyLDdQ87XBQ

prove the existence of race without presupposing its existence.

Shut up, cuckold, and continue shilling for the patriotism of foreigners (so long as they support 'your team').

They doesn't make race any less spooky or you any less of a petty Hitlerite.

Also:
This is how stupid you are. You are a product of narcissism - like literally all contemporary leftists. All of your heroes agree with me, cuck. How does that feel?

Source? He actually said quote the opposite at the last party congress and the state currently regains control over the economy which was lost due to the collapse of the central planning in the 90s. All these people that try so hard to make it seem that the DPRK is, like, totally like China always fail to actually pinpoint to the instances where private property exists outside the Special Economic Zones (which aren't very relevant). I know that North Korea runs a restaurant in Amsterdam but I actually think that's quite cool.

If you are being an overly dogmatic child while completely ignorant to the material realty North Korea defies the entire world while still providing housing, food and healthcare to its people you are infantile. You might as well blame Lenin for implementing the NEP.

How the fuck is he failing? Wishful thinking.

...

Honestly, I don't know what's really going on North Korea and neither do you.
It's either a cannibal hellhole or fucking starfleet, depending on who you talk to.
We know western media lies all the time, but that doesn't mean North Korea is truthful either.

seriously, just lay something out. are red haired white people brown haired white people different 'subspecies'? can you just answer the question? stop beating around the bush to defend your ignorance.
oh is that right? who are my heroes?

You need to go back.

Little unrelated to the topic, but I had some free time so I decided to crack down a little bit on the usual sources used to make statements on North Korean economy (such as the existence of markets, bribery, etc.) that you'd usually see in Reuters, US-Korean research institutes and other outlets that supposedly give you a "neutral" and "acedemic" source of information on North Korea. You'd be surprised how small the circle of people actually is which is the main origin point of information we get about North Korea, and, not surprisingly, they are 100% disingenous.

For example, the so-called "North Korean Economy Watch", affiliated page and main source for the US-Korea Institute at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, which is a source of information for Reuters as well as the Foreign Policy Institute, is run by a single guy who currently makes his PhD. Checking out his Twitter, he is a full-on hardcore Jewish Zionist that retweets anti-Corbyn slander and teaches classes like "Communism in practice" (kek) at universities. Then, looking at the primary sources this blog uses, I came across a think-tank of the Bavarian christian conservative party (CSU) and a shaky mobile phone cam video of a South Korean propaganda channel on YouTube where you can see the outside of a bathhouse in Chongjin, and from that with no evidence it is concluded that "this bathhouse doesn't have hot water, therefore public businesses fail compared to muh free market!" despite lacking any visual evidence. We can only conclude that we have to be 100% sceptical about any supposed neutral information about North Korea, no matter how academic it sounds. I'm planning to look more into this on the weekend and maybe publish a list of people who are points of origin of dubious information about the DPRK.

Latin America has people from all over the world and diversity/race doesn't seem to be a problem for them.

no

Most European countries are also ethnically diverse. Haplogroups =/= skin color

No. Marxism was never part of the Korean constitution, so the claim that they "removed it" was never correct in the first place. Socialism is still in it, and in pretty much every official doctrine. Kim Il-Sung said that communsim won't be achievable as long as imperialism exists (to which Juche is the response), that's why it is not officially part of the doctrine. Juche isn't a revision of Marxism-Leninism, it's the practical application of Marxism-Leninism tailored to the specific conditions on the Korean peninsula.
Questionable since local councils and the Supreme People's Assembly can only have delegates nominated by worker organizations.
How exactly? It's not like they've chose to have a face-off with the entire capitalist world.

He's a child with a god complex

They didn't choose the Juche life.
The Juche life chose them.

That's sort of true considering their situation. It's like being on a different planet. First, you isolate and threaten the fuck out of a country then you complain when they develop cultural mannerisms?

...

I don't see how that's possible, since it's very Korea-specific.

that's as ignorant as saying fascism is very white-specific

True Korea is shit… .. but so is South.

Most fascists are white.
Most Juche adherents are Korean.
That's a fact. There are exceptions, but they are rare.
