total different game but overwatch has just been trial and error for me, i finally have a decent handle on how to play junkrat and thats just because hes OP right now and you basically just have to be a spazz with them

I also watched an SCII shield battery cheese earlier and it was dumb.

I know with old Kat that feeding her basically meant she would just pentakill your team until you finally forfeit.

yea videos like that don really usually help me meaningfully learn how to use a character either, its complicated to get the nuances of playing your situations well with each character in a game

you gotta love games where if you fuck up feeding one character it can mean death for your entire team

They changed the character and made her a lot harder so I'm not sure that actually applies to Katarina anymore.

Gotta love games so expertly balanced that if you fuck up at all, or even if you don't, you just lose.

I watch cheese videos because it lets me get a bit of insight into the cheese.
Obvious I won't learn to counter it until I'm doing it myself and getting countered but y'know.

fair enough but anything that can apply to a character like that should be dealt with pretty quickly just on the principle of the matter, ive played too many games where one class was just hyperdeath incarnate

The game is fairly well balanced considering just how enormous the cast of characters is, honestly.

Katarina was basically useless in lane until level six against absolutely every character because her abilities didn't scale super hard off of AP, no starting items worked on her as a resourceless champion, and she's melee. And even in late game you just had to have one character with an easy stun to shut her down.

Some characters dominate harder at different skill levels. This is the case in every game like this.

i have no background knowledge on wow really but yea, every chaarcter is supposed to have their strengths to leverage in a properly balanced game
