Tbh it would have been more realistic for the SPD to actually do what its supporters wanted and not betray the revolution. They were playing both sides against one another from the beginning, and pandered to the revolutionaries to win a majority in the worker's councils then began dismantling all of their political/economic gains. If they hadn't done that then the freikorps would have had a well organized and armed opposition which included tens of thousands of WW1 vets. The Freikorps was composed of the most reactionary elements of the military and German society in general, them joining the revolutionaries would be unthinkable. The SPD not being garbage on the other hand is actually a possibility.

In order from more to less important:

1) Prevent the splits and expulsions in the First International and its successors. It may not have resulted in total left unity, but it would have at least allowed more diverse ideological proliferation to be supported by a proper international network of support and organization.
2) Prevent the betrayal of the 1918 German Revolution by the SocDems, thereby affording the revolution a foothold in the more developed parts of Europe and ensuring that the Bolsheviks are not isolated (assuming the Spartacists are successful). While I remain skeptical about the long-term prospects of the Leninist project in Russia and elsewhere, not having to turn to extreme internal survival as the main priority would definitely help alleviate a number of failures in the USSR in moving towards actual socialism.
3) Stagger the mobilization of the Nationalist forces in Spain and prevent the Army of Africa from getting into Iberia. It may not necessarily result in a victory still, but it might allow the Civil War to be treated as more of a regional insurrection than the society-wide head-to-head it became.
4) Prevent the PCE in Spain from disarming the militias. Partly because it was a clear attempt to try and neutralize the anarchist presence (the side I would personally root for), but also because it robbed the anti-fascist forces of their single largest individual fighting force. Still might have been too late in the war to matter.
5) Prevent the suppression of organizations like the IWW in the US, seeing as they were probably the most revolutionary institution at play in its heyday. I would like to say it might have had the potential to actually push into the realm of more active revolutionary politics, but at the very least its proliferation may have at least helped to put a leash on some of the worst excesses of US domestic and international policy if their influence was allowed to bloom.
