Same here. My city has a large non-native/non-white population made up of East Asians, Indians, Nepali, Somalis, Sudanese, Moroccans. They take their kids to the same parks and libraries, go to the same schools, get the same shitty movies from Netflix, etc. Some of them are nice and polite and some aren't. Many have a limited education and do menial work (and lots of it) to send back home to their families. I know some that are engineers or medical professionals or factory workers and so far the only real difference I've found between them are the cigarettes they smoke. They're more worried about paying their bills and making their their kids or families are taken care of than this trumped up racial tension bullshit.

Ethnic nationalism is a dead end today, because economically it is not viable, Britain is about to put Brexit on its own asshole and fuck itself, Greece got near exiting the euro but decided against it, and Poland's president vetoed just recently the PiS decision to overhaul the judicial system, because of fear of ending the euro bucks stream in Poland. Nationalist isolationism is a current trend, but it is more of a reaction to globalization than a realistic alternative.

Concerning America, it is a tricky one, because there is very high wealth inequality there, so that might trump race tensions, though I am not betting on it, since americans are very low on class consciousness and their whole society is based on antagonism and conflict.

ethnic nationalism does not mean 100% pure ethnostates, at the very least it means making attempts to preserve a demographic majority through some voluntary repatriation (why be poor in america when you can get paid and be rich in mexico? encouraging back to africa movements, which are already common in black american history. etc) ethnonationalism does not need to be as scary as you think it is.
