I tried /r/socialism and got banned for calling Hillary a cunt. That really put me off "the left" for a bit, until I found Holla Forums and actual leftism

Lurked halfchan, 7chan, and 420chan a lot from 2005 to 2011ish. Stopped for a while afterwards, feeling the culture change to have been to great. Felt lost, wandered the internet nostalgically wishing for the internet to go back how it was before, mostly just using Facebook, Reddit (r/@, yeah it's cancerous but there is some interesting content), Tumblr, etc. Found Holla Forums again last year, and started enjoying imageboards again.

When it comes to politics, nowhere else. Holla Forums is the only active place I know where I can discuss with leftists who are actually focused on wage slavery and work.
The sad thing is that the reddit-strain of left is overwhelmingly present in meatspace. The main slogan of the Hamburg G20 protests was "Kein mensch ist illegal" ("no man is illegal"), and while it can be a dank one from a Stirnerite/truly-libertarian standpoint, it was only about open borders within the current framework in the mind of most people. I saw no slogans about reducing work hours or claiming ownership over the means of production. Only shit about Trump, LGBT, etc. Being there was fun but also disappointing.

4chan and 420chan from roughly 2007 until 2011, then reddit lurking pretty much exclusively until I found Holla Forums again around 2014, been coming here more and more ever since, 98% of the time for Holla Forums.
