In all seriousness, why do people try to rescue bronze-age ideologies from the dustbin of history by focusing on the bits that can be charitably interpreted as emancipatory? We have far greater ability to spin new cloth with 1500 years of philosophy and technology that Muhammed's time didn't have. Why would we not take advantage of our vastly superior position but instead look backward to people who would scarcely be able to comprehend the modern world?

i'm not some nu-atheism sam harris lover, i hate those guys, but i still despise religious people that take advantage of atheists and skeptics that aren't all loud and proud about their views. they do this by pontificating endlessly about their moral piety, as if we care at all, or even worse, like they are better than everyone else, even though they are full of the same flaws as anyone else.

Because it's the subtlest, gentlest way of introducing spooked people to subversive ideas. Any ideology as ancient and broad as most religions has tinges of pretty much any modern policy you might wish to propose.

Religion is a vile anti-intellectual blight that should be wiped from the face of the earth, and people that grow up in truly religious households (especially those with the misfortune to be born in a fundamentalist family) get serious problems because of it. That said, much of the "religious" population, certainly the overwhelming majority in 1st-world nations, are barely affected at all by the vague superstitions they occasionally feel obligated to pay lip service to, and attempting to expunge these last traces of spookiness from them by overt rhetoric is unlikely to do more good than ill.

I like that Rafiq takes two pages of information to state the obvious on every issue. I don't think everything needs to be condensed for the sake of it, but damn this dude needs to take a writing class and learn to be more succinct.

There are emancipatory strains but if you want to focus on them you have to take out the systems that enforce the oppressive strains that are themselves enforced and propped up by the west. So it kind of comes full circle and isn't really all that worth it unless your plan literally starts with Step 1: destroy the west.

My enemas are pretty simple. I am a FFer so I want and need a deep, total cleanout. I want my ass clean for 12 hours if need be.

I gently push all the water out. BUT IN NO WAY AM I FULLY CLEANED OUT YET. The worst has yet to come out and needs to be lured out. That nasty shitty water that if not cleaned out will likely come out while later getting fucked.
Inserting a dildo makes quick work of luring out all of that shitty nastiness. As deep as you can take the dildo will lure out the water faster.
