Ciro is basicly a post-kensyan who studied at Harvard. He was the governor of Ceará and the mayor of Fortaleza and he was minister multiple times during pasta goverments só surely has alot of experience.

Bourgeois democracy is bourgeois democracy. Corruption and the whims of the world economy still apply at every level. So take heart Brazillian comrades since your situation has been replayed over and over again across the world. If anything the anger at austerity should be the focus points of any sort of resistance.

The poor people in the cities have a good acess to internet and no time to organize themselves, a digital democracy can be the perfect strategy to get these people involved with politics.
