Was Mark Fisher the last great Marxist theorist of our time? Who do we even have left at this point?

Zizek

You can be the next one.

OP said "Marxist theorists", not "court jesters for the bourgeois"

don't tell me there is ideology in this thread

Zizek is a meme and while a commie, less so a marxist.
Wolff is nice and call but I wouldn't call him a theorist.

You do know that Zizek is pretty much blacklisted among intellectual circles and school curriculums and gets most of his popularity from, well, actual people?

By his own admission, he was no Marxist. At least he was able to own that fact, unlike the other succdem intellectuals mentioned ITT.

...

There's still some good Marxist theorists alive, like David Harvey and Harry Cleaver. These guys are actual marxists in the sense that they critique the economic aspects of capitalism and not just the cultural effects it has on people(not that there's anything wrong with Fisher's takes).

He is a marxist, knows marx, and wants to abolish wage labour. Cooperatives are just a first step in america.

...

accelerationists please leave

...

And Bernie is a marxalist
Sure
He literally doesn't know anything about socialism: truth-out.org/opinion/item/40656-the-new-socialism-moving-beyond-concentrated-state-power

Lassaleans, marksuccs, socdems, reactionaries please leave

Dauve is still kicking.

Badiou.

SEETHING

*and Bernie is a socialist

He killed himself because there are no good jungle raves in London anymore.

Hillary Clinton was the last great Marxist theorist of our time.

have you ever considered maybe it's because marx doesn't introduce a very compelling argument against cooperatives?

Valid reason tbh

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
