We're isolated, it can be 24 hours of darkness or 24 hours of sun, the food is shit, and just religion offers a chance to make your life better by ending it. Also yes, we are forced to Learn Danish and English, I actually excelled when it came to learning those languages. But your native language being taught is up to the parents instead of the school system once they start teaching (mainly because our language is pretty hard to learn and most often the teachers are Danish)
