Nepal has like 10 different communist parties which have been in government for the last 9 years since the Monarchy got abolished after they tried to pull a coup to restore absolutism. iirc the last government was maoist but another maoist party declared a protracted people's war against them.
So this isn't new for Nepal and its in general a shitshow.
But the CPN(UML) having a strong performence might kick out the Nepali Congress libs.
