Having an idealized fictional sexual partner is 100% a product of alienation and is a bad thing. No one, if they were honest with themselves, would chose a fantasy over a drawing. Unless you are mentally handicapped there is no reason to do this.

Under socialism however where everyone is entitled to the actual value of their labor then social alienation will inherently decrease thus eliminating the need for such things.
