So on Plebbit, has anyone else noticed in like the past month or two that like, all the big political boards are just being filled with people who actually call themselves Neoliberals and they seem hell bent on attacking Leftist Social Dems, Socialists etc and worshipping like Hillary Clinton?
At the same time, we've now got this super popular /r/Neoliberal board on Reddit and you are getting all these articles from MSM about the "Radical center" and "Neoliberalism and sweatshops are cool guys!" at the same time.
What the fuck? Have your standard liberals just lost their mind because of Trump and they can't believe he actually beat KWEEEN so it must all be Bernie and Russias fault, or is there like a fucking Neoliberal rebrand astroturf shit happening?
its just astroturf. check out the board and there will be like 1 or 2 threads with thousands of replies and every other post has like less than ten replies or upvotes. It's just hillary shill David Brock with a rebranded Correct The Record called Media Matters.
Also it seems from articles I've read that Hillary is going to try to run again in 2020 so I think that the fact that Brock is still going on with this shit means that those stories have some weight

The Far right are doing it. The liberals are doing it. where the fuck is the pinko astro turfing service and why aren't we it?
Matthew Ortiz
Because we don't have money.
Astroturfing is being done through think tanks. Think it was a coincidence like /r/mensrights, /r/Kotakuinaction, /r/T_D just happen to worship figures attached to the American Enterprise Institute like Christina Hoff Sommers and Camille Paglia?
Alexander Roberts
I've noticed this on YouTube. I'll comment of anti communist videos and litterally get over 20 replies.
I've bothered to argue with a few of them and was shocked at how fairly versed they were on history and porky economics. Still won, but it was a struggle, and they are relentless.
I really feel like it was just way to convenient to run into this many people online that well versed in porky economics to be a coincidence.
These guys were not you run of the mill ancap or Ron Paul supporters. They were extremely deft.
Jayden Murphy
How the fuck do you even go about becoming a shill?
Christian Russell
Hopefully some of the anons saying 'I am the child of a millionaire' and so on will pan out
Oliver Evans
Hired through PR firms and such. Basically they don't advertise for shill, they advertise for a people to do data entry for a marketing campaign, fill maybe half, quarter of a floor at a PR firm with them, and get them to shill like crazy.
I'd like to say it's all shills and CTR but reddit went full retard during the general election for Hillary. It's sad the Bernie days were promising and there was a swing away from politics as usual there but the minute dems wanted them to get in line they immediately listened to massa.

I want to get off this ride.
Logan Howard
Well shit nigga we are communists, let's do this for free???

There was some discussion of this in the /britleftypol/ thread. I'll copy some of the relevant posts to this thread in case they get cycled out:
/r/neoliberal isnt as popular as you think. it started as a meme but the mods clearly wanted to steer it in the direction of legitimacy. now more and more people are finding out that they're being serious about their autism and they're starting to leave.
Alexander Turner
I checked out r/NeoLiberal about 2 or 3 months ago, and the vibe I got was that they were trying to shift Hillary supporters further right.
Leo Lopez
It's amazing how neocons can continually reinvent themselves. The ASInstitute's funding channels are very very secretive apart from the masses they take from New Labour and tobacco firms (which was leaked I think)
Liam Robinson
It's not that amazing when you have the world's largest propaganda machine with countless "think tanks" and PR firms.
Carson Wood
It's the establishment "left" desperately needing to grasp at straws to maintain their position. We've seen how vulnerable these third-way types are to a more populist left insurgency in the mold of Sanders or Corbyn, and I think this is their first corporate funded effort to enter into the realm of ideological combat with the more populist left. Before, all their efforts hinged on obfuscation and hiding what they truly were, but now that we are in a bit of a political off-season, they might as well test the waters and try to build something more solid in the place of the smoke and mirrors they had previously. They are banking on being able to build a movement through astroturfing and centrist media hype, and it might well work: see Macron, the Tea Party.

I honestly thought /r/neoliberalism was satire. Is it real?
Grayson Foster
I honestly thought reddit was satire. Is it real?
Aiden Parker
Yes

Nice pic. Das some good situationist shit right there!
