Hello, there is a relatively unknown political simulator called Power. Currently, the GOP is dominating the game, with most of their support coming from Holla Forums and /r/The_Donald, to stop the Nazbol gang which they hate. Currently we're in a pact with the Syndicalists, but even that is not enough to stop the /r/The_Donald hordes.
Right we're focusing on Appalachia and the Midwest, with plans to expand into the South and West later on, so for now starting in the Midwest is the best. Currently West Virginia is our Nazbol gang stronghold, and our best performing state. Also, don't forget to join the Farmer-Labor Congress of Citizens' Leagues in the parties section of Power, as well as our Discord.
It looks like I, Red Son, will be running against McChicken for an Arizona Senate seat.
Needless to say, I'm almost certainly going to lose.

All jokes aside I'll answer from a meta standpoint here is my reason. You gain power and influence based on how closely you resemble your party's ideology. The people here would be closer to the party I am in and it would be much more efficient to gain power as well as influence if they were in in the Democratic People's Union

You have to wait over time. The bigger parties and elected officials have a slight advantage in gaining power. I forgot the exact equation for it. Once you get to a certain amount of influence, doing only ads gets really easy.

Also, vote for yourself for chair because it gives you additional party power which gives you more power per tick. If you're in DPU our chair is far beyond all of us, so he really doesn't mind if he doesn't have all the votes.

DOn't be afraid to sully your reputation just to get yourself high enough to make good money from fundraisers. Bad reputation goes down after every tick and it only really matters during elections. I think you start making 1k per fundraiser at 20 influence. Also whenever Nionu comes on, hopefully he can disperse some of the party treasury to the new blood so they can do ads. He was kind enough to give me a 50k personal donation when I first started and before he was party chair. so now that he has that power, I can imagine he'll use it.
