Are we coming full circle?

I'm only here because I hate Trump tbh.

I wish.

Who's the girl?

I swear to god I'm about to go full unironic anti-Americanism.

This country is just insane.

The rest of the world has been there for a while now. Join us.

Reality Winner.

I thought you were joking about them being losers but holy shit it's true, there's someone with that name. Tho I thought she was a killer, considering the other mugshots.

I dunno, I think there always was something unique about the American… I don't know the proper term here. American gestalt? American collective unconscious? Anyway, yeah the whole world has always been insane, but I still think America is insane in some different way I can't describe.

The word you're looking for is "american exceptionalism" and it's a meme.

Well after seeing a random liberal defend fucking David Duke I guess I was wrong to doubt in the insanity of America

How long are people just going to ignore that her name is "Reality Winner"?

Bernie Supporters:

Fixed it.

But Captain America would never endorse Hillary, specially if she rigged an election against him and put him through a media grinder.

I think people ignore it because Reddit ran puns into the fucking ground. Goddamn it's annoying to see the first 3 most upvoted comments of everything be inane puns.

top fuking kek

good point tbh

I'm more pissed about its implication that trump could ever be anything like the comedian

What's with Americans and naming their children? No doubt her parents are old hippies

The current Captain America isn't the real Captain America.

None of what Hodgkinson did actually foments anything resembling a revolution, if anything an unorganized and seemingly random act of violence such as this discredits the far-left and gives sympathy and fuel to the far-right instead.

k dude

anecdotal I know, but most "soft liberals" that I know IRL are saying "it's about time we started fighting back". it's not a random act of violence, it's a calculated reaction to an all-encompassing violent system.

good going manlet

Sure thing Chaim!

Yeah and I wonder what the Trump voters and the feds are saying.

The target, Steve Scalise, was more or less a nobody. His facebook post reads “Trump is a Traitor. Trump Has Destroyed Our Democracy. It’s Time to Destroy Trump & Co.”

said it best

Self-victimization is never going to bring about socialism.
One man with a gun is worth a hundred million virtue signalling liberals.

Virtue signalling liberals are truly worthless but a lone man with a gun who chooses a poor target, never mind failing to kill him, without any strategic sense is not worth much either.

It wasn't a poor target. These people are at the core of the problem. Unless you believe they dindu du nuffin when they voted times and time again to enrich porky at the expensive of everyone else.
This is just typical liberal anti-violence. If he had killed a couple of wall street executives he'd be decried just as much as if he'd succeeded at thinning out the house republicans.

Steve Scalise is the house majority whip. Hardly a nobody. It was even the whole reason why he had a security detail in the first place.

Yeah okay let's see if those 237 other assassination attempts show up

Sure thing worker, make sure to take your guns to the next Trump rally and show them that we are part of the resistance™ and we will never let our country be a Putin puppet!

It makes sense that Bernie supporters are doing these weird things. He was the "outsider", at least in the eyes of the America. People saw him as a break with the current, clearly broken and corrupt system (even tho he was a socdem at best but that doesn't matter), and the way the primary was rigged was beyond shameless, the sort of thing that fuels self-righteousness. The people who hate the system the most, be they normies or cranks, had no choice but to support him. He was the best chance the alienated and the misfits had.

I know that term, but it's kind of different because this exceptionalism is only in its insanity and nothing else.

America has high levels of individualism and low levels of risk aversion. This is a combination of a founding Anglo culture, and selection for people who are individualistic and not risk-averse. You had to be at least a little out there to go across the sea to start a new life in America.

...

There are way worse politicians in the White House than David Duke.
