Paradox Victortia II. While the company isn't too communism-friendly in general, this one is a strange exception/

Most good games are neutral, though.

Hidden Agenda and Crisis In The Kremlin

Don't you have any preferences to tell us?

Metal Gear, my man. It's like reading Debord and Baudrillard at the peak of an LSD trip. Don't fall prey to Sassy Socialist Memes-tier vidya, comrade.

Oh I enjoy pretty much any genre except platformers and sports games.

Mainly I am an RPG/strategy guy

I already play Vic2. Best game Paradox ever made in my opinion. Love it.

Hidden agenda
Its a fun MSDOS game focused on running a banana republic post revolution. You can choose to remain status quo, regress to authority, or push for Socialism. Its bretty nice for a game on the MSDOS, an best of all its free

I went full "every man a soldier" and the USA fucking flipped their shit. CIA, go away!

We should make a Vicky2 mod that irons out some of the weirdness.

Like the "anarcho-liberals", socdems appearing before communists, some of the weirdness with revolutions (I think you should have the option to directly join the revolution instead of just letting it win, which is a bit game-y), etc.

Didn't mean to sage

The weirdness is too hard to iron out tbh. If you were to make socialism anything other than ML/Social Democracy, your workers/councils/whatever would not have the money of the upper class aristocrats and capitalists, and would thus never be able to fund their own factories.

The rest of the weirdness is really because Victoria 2 is still a game, not a full on simulation. Liberals always supporting political reform, socialists always supporting social reform, and conservatives always supporting no reform or regression, except in times of turmoil makes the political system unrealistic but fun.

In Half-Life 2 you get to rebel against Howard Scott.

Christ, comrade, I hope you're pirating that. Paradox is the perfect example of corporate greed, considering the charge like 200 dollars just to get the full game

HPM improves the game a lot. It add a lot of content without becoming bloated and stays balanced.

Read a book.

Well yes. Obviously. (Un)fortunately their games are actually pretty great.

And technically Vic2 has only two expansions, it's only the newgeneration that has a new DLC every month or so.

There is nothing wrong with Ass Creed series as an entry level of anti-authoritarianism.

I do wonder if Howard Scott played this and if he was weeping the entire time.

Someone copy paste my master list, I'm on the bus right now

T. Marxist media

Kaiserreich my dudes.

Kaiserreich is awesome.

It even has NAZBOL if you make that coup by the Japanese army succeed

I pirated Hoi4 but the only version of Kaiserreich I can find is on the steam workshop. Is there another place to get it?

It's not explicitly leftist but FNV has plenty of potential. Westside, Followers of the Apocalypse, No Gods No Masters, maybe Boomers and BoS (cause they've established self-sufficient production for use)

might be on moddb

HOI4 is garbage anyway. Kaiserreich on Darkest Hour is the real version.

Planescape Torment. Not leftist but a good game to relax and play. Avoid Enhanced Edition because it's awful.

Boomers are lolberts and Brotherhood is an example of xenophobia bringing prolonged doom. Still NV is one of the better games out there.

Except for their shit take on Robespierre and their even shittier business practices

The means of production (workshop, solar panels, farms, biofuel production) are publicly owned. They're xenophobic but not lolberts

Mother 3

Your town literally goes to shit when captialism takes over. Hell, people don't know what money is until the 4th chapter.

Great game.
I would recommend playing Earthbound first though, which is the equivalent of reading children's literature under the influence of psychedelic mushrooms and is an awesome game as well.

guess the Boomers are Nazbol

Can't believe no ones brought up liberal crime squad. You play as the leader of a left wing terrorist group. It is however only text based. Well worth it if you can put up with the graphical style. bay12forums.com/smf/index.php?topic=125450.0

Reccetear: "Yo, I have a suggestion for another game that might interest you.
Recettear is a japanese game about a young girl taking over a store to pay off her debts. While innocent in appearance, they game makes some points about financial realities, like a big bank demanding ridiculous payments to take away your house, going so far as to throw a kid into the streets if you get a game over. You also experience some fun merchant stuff like exploiting your workers by sending them into dungeons and giving them much less money than the items they collect for you are worth, charging at least 15, often 40% more than any product is worth and accumulating capital for the sheer sake of it in Endless Mode."
Ratchet and Clank 1?
Metal Slug "i mean
it ain't no marxist
but you literally shoot and blow up fucking nazis"
Bushgame (lets play?)
Persona 5
Alien Isolation (evil corporations)
Kentucky Route Zero (humanity versus faceless corporate buerocracy in a decaying old coal state with a Twin Peaks vibe)

Dwarf Fortress. Kill all your nobles.

P.S. Torrent everything

UnderRail, you can join an Anarchist gang and fuck up the cryptofascist protectorate. It's also heavy on primitivism.

literally 0 fun.

Transamur?????????

...

I've been playing Banished! lately. It's made by an individual indie developer, and is probably one of the best city builder games out there imo. Lefty cus the default game has no money, citizens have access to goods according to need, and they can change jobs freely.
Starved my first village out, would recommend 9/10

Why FF tactics is porky friendly?

youtube.com/watch?v=1EStV0-DBqQ&feature=youtu.be

No, the Restorationist coup that turns Japan into a National Populist planned economy.

Paradox has no choice but to function within the framework of the current society.

There is no reason not to make a voluntary contributions to its' funds. Which I do by buying games I like and some DLCs. And besides, forums.

Suck my dick, Johan.

...

SWEDES GO HOME

Why so butthurt? I simply stated my actions and reasons for acting that way.

Apparently the upcoming Wolfenstein game has a Southern socialist as one of Blazkowicz's resistance buddies.
