The consensus seems to be people who haven't accepted their Lord and Savior Jesus Christ are going to burn in hell for all eternity. Eternal suffering. This includes friends and families. And none of the people on the sub seem even very fazed about the idea. They're just like, "yeah, sure my brother or sister will be facing infinite torment for the rest of all time, but I'll be chilling in Heaven, so it's all cool."

It just makes me wonder: Are Christians (or Muslims for that matter, since they also believe in eternal Hell) sociopaths? I don't understand how someone with a conscience could accept this situation as that of a loving and merciful God.

You left out the part where the people facing hell are predestined to do so. This is not only a feature of Calvinism - other doctrines just equivocate around it. Calvinism takes Christianity to its logical conclusion.
