Lived in the Czech Republic for a bit, I can confirm that most East Europeans I know they like to be considered Central Europeans hate immigrants mainly because they've been occupied by the Nazis and the Soviets so they are super protective of their culture. This leads them to be skeptical towards foreigners rather than accepting. Of course this is all anecdotal. However, another man factor is that post-Iron Curtain countries don't give out free shit like Germany and Nordic countries. Seriously in Germany they give them cars and apartments which increases rent for the natives. Why stay in EE when you can apply for refugee status in Germany and get set up by the state?
