What if I like it in Norway? What if I want to protect what I like? It's a common thing on the left, were you don't understand why people can be proud of the clay they are born on. No one here thinks bringing Muslims into the country is good. There's nothing wrong with having empathy with refugees, tho. I voted for a party that wants to stop Eastern Europeans from taking jobs at low wages. This same party doesn't want to close the borders for refugees. Also, just because some one is part of the Labour party doesn't mean they're socialist.

If refugees come here and get citizenship, they get the same rights we have. That means a minimum wage, same as mine. Due to EU policy, people from other parts of Europe can come work here for dirt cheap. If I was alive during the time when Turkish and Moroccan 'guest' workers were being brought to my country, I would've opposed that. Not on the basis of them being from Muslim countries, but on the basis that they exploit themselves and screw over their fellow workers. Of course, the fault lies with the neo-liberals who make it possible for foreign workers to come here, not the foreign workers themselves.

And I could give less of a shit about muh culture, as long as they don't force their spooky opinions on any one (including their own people).
