Can anyone recommend me a good e-reader?

I want to read more theory but I'm tired of reading shit on my phone and I feel like it would be pointless to buy physical copies if most of this stuff is free online.

I highly recommend the Kobo Glo HD. You can find them regularly on ebay for around $50-60. It's also DRM free.>>1750215

Nice. Thank you, comrade.

...

Well then, this is going to be a long thread.

what IS communization theory

Got anything short?
And don't give me that article about burgers, already read it.

First post best post

Marxists who have abandoned Marx's lower stage of communism.
sicjournal.org/what-is-communisation/

What was the USSR by Aufheben
libcom.org/library/what-was-ussr-aufheben Presents many diferrent theories by Trots and leftcoms on the nature of the USSR

It would be more accurate to say they are marxists who have rejected any kind of stagism in favour immediate communist measures (at least if you define communisation in the way Gilles Dauvé does). Instead of gaining political control and then slowly implementing socialist reforms, communisation would have us destroy state power and commodity relations simultaneously, though it's worth pointing out it wouldn't be instant (Gilles Dauvé seems to think the process would take decades).

i bought the basic kindle with ads and it works fine, but the ads are awful so id try and avoid that one

Everyone should read Paul Mattick. Paul Mattick is based. Here's a collection of great essays

thats because leftcoms are the real communists.

This thread is absolutely golden. Should I make a reading list, or is there already one?

Onorato Damen is pretty based.
marxists.org/archive/damen/

Read panneKEK

leftcoms deserve to be hung

yeah fuck the people who actually read marx

Is communization compatible with communalism?

Imagine being this kind of person…

...

THIS GUY GETS IT

How can one summarize left Communism in 2-3 sentences? No memes

i can sum it up in one sentence, mate

"pretty fuckin' shit."

Shit Leftcoms do:

"My theory can't be wrong, the real world has to bend according to my ideology"

"I get my historical data out of 60 year old Trotskyst theory text"

"We should apply Marx way to critiquing things to Marx own words"

"Taylorist-Blanquist Social Democracy is everything I don't like, also respect 1850s definitions"

Wtf for the first two
and the last two contradict each other

wtf is wrong with the third one though?

Are you trolling or are you actually this retarded?

Stop derailing this thread faggot. Also grow up and read Marx.

It's honestly pretty compatible with Anarcho-Communism, but while most Leftcoms will sperg out over Bookchin's theories I know I have in actual practice they are pretty compatible.

I mean to say Communization is compatible with both Anarcho-Communism and Communalism, not sure if I was clear on that. Possibly more so then Marxism-Leninsm and Trotskyism.

Anti-parliamentarism, zero-tolerance for nationalism, and treating anything where there is production for exchange and wage labour as not socialism.

Shit MLs do:

Taylorism-Blanquism is a pretty accurate description of Marxism-Leninism though.

Opportunism is the biggest obstacle from achieving socialism.

...

Why is that? I would get it if one were to propose municipal democracy as a final goal, which to be fair Bookchin kind of implies AFAIK, but otherwise, it would seem like a pretty good tool to weaking established forces, and to build up socialist relationships "before the revolution".

Fuck, Leftcoms were the majority factions of parties (or were expelled, and then made larger parties [particularly the KAPD]) at the height of the revolutionary tide in the countries where they existed as any significant force (although they did not call themselves leftcoms at the time).
