Firstly Islam is a religion, not some foreign nationality that can be deported, secondly there's a difference between imposing an immigration ban on countries that have a perception of supplying terrorists and deliberately deporting people for their religion. Deportation is for criminals, and religion isn't a crime and can't just be made one on the drop of a hat. Thirdly, people were already calling Trump literally Hitler for a lukewarm travel ban that didn't even amount to anything, what do you think would happen if he actually deported non-criminals because of their religion.
