Why aren't you a Hoxhaist?

What do you think of Dengism re: China and what are some broad strokes about economic policy in Vietnam at the moment?

Why not a Stalinist?

What's is the attitude towards leftism & the war with America like in your area?

not much connection between it and the rest of vietnam. there's a growing maoist movement in china and some chinese-vietnamese solidarity could benefit both populations exploited by the revisionist liberals in the CCP and VCP

dengism is universally accepted as terrible among almost all leftist tendencies aside from some delusional market socialists.
vietnamese economics policies are bad, very dependent on foreign investments, from japan, korea, the US, singapore, china, etc. the vietnamese marketized very early on, ho chi minh himself said a mixed market capitalist economy was more preferable than actual socialism, citing it as "unsuitable for application" in the country. i've heard that less than 5% of the economic production is from state-owned enterprises, and many of those are getting privatized fast.

because stalinism is a derogatory statement used to accuse anyone who believe in the soviet form of marxism. no marxist-leninists would call themselves stalinists, stalin himself rejected the term

How's the food over there?

So vietnam isn't socialist?

Another viet here, are you some kind of max tankie?

You realize your kinds are almost extinct right?

in general people have the liberal attitude of "if you work hard everything will come to you". the biggest opposition to the "communist" party is a neocon reformist party that has growing support in the country. on the internet you can find most political discussions have a very right wing and close-mided tinge on their commentaries. most people dont care for international solidarity, nationalism is all time high in the country with the south china sea disputes.
older people still hate white people and americans in particular, but there's no violence against white tourists or expats as they're rich and protected by their lawyers and embassies. young people love whites, and most dont care about the war of resistance against american imperialism, some to the point of defending the southern puppet government.

a million times better than the shit americans have

it was never socialist

if the relevance of a movement is placed over whether its correct or not, i'd just be a generic pro-west neoliberal

I'm not really an M-L but is and of Ho Chi Minh's work worth reading?

VIETNAM MAKES ME WANT TO THROW UP

Maximum cancer and unpatriotic piece of shit then.

Tell me where you are from, better not in South.

How difficult do you think it would be for an English speaker to learn Vietnamese?

Then stop buying street food from the guy who was pointing at you and laughing a few minutes before. He's not laughing with you, nazi-kun

Interesting and somewhat sad. So even though that devastating war with the imperialists (I'm a burger btw & asked the first question) was only 30-40 years ago it's basically not talked about? What do public schools teach about the topic Is there any resentment at all for the millions killed by America & the Southern thugs?

Have you been able to find many irl comrades or like minded lefties? Either M-Ls Anarchists assorted Marxists etc?

gonna be honest and i say i havent read much from him aside from some small articles, i do plan on reading him more closely in the future, but i doubt he'd make a very lasting impression on me. from what i've heard most people regard him as a good anti-imperialist and national liberator, not a good marxist theorist.

understandable have a nice day

never said i was unpatriotic. i was bashing the unpatriotic neoliberals who fetishize foreign countries, or the ultranationalists who are blinded by reactionary beliefs, im a proletarian nationalist, and i was born and raised in the north. ironic how you called me an unpatriotic piece of shit and then proceed to imply that being southerner makes a person less patriotic.

i've seen expats be able to speak pretty well, probably not that hard if you speak to a lot of people.

it is taught about in schools, and they do teach about the american's crimes, but generally most people just dont care or outright deny those things because they associate everything communist as untruths and wrong. many conspiracies spread quickly because people just dont care enough to check facts of the things they read.
no, ive never made an attempt to, most political activists arent well-regarded by the government and its very risky to start an anti-revisionist movement, especially with the country being highly supportive of neoliberalism

How many people speak English well in Vietnam?

Also what are social relations like, is it hard to get laid there?

Also is free speech suppressed at all (especially leftist speech)?

What would you say are the essential texts of MLM? What were some of your favorites?

the number is rising, parents are doing their best to get their kids to learn english early to study and move to foreign countries. success for most people is being able to emigrate to a rich western imperialist country.
i dont like sexpats a lot, and im pretty sure you know the answer to that question already.
if you go out in the street and spout any kind of radical political shit chances are people are just going to ignore you and other foreigners will just despise you

this is pretty useful

necessityandfreedom.wordpress.com/2016/04/19/marxism-leninism-maoism-study-guide-101/

Seems true enough - I knew a Vietnamese kid in a Catholic High School who was an exchange student - he was an adamant neocon which clicked well with me at the time as I was also a somewhat left-leaning liberal. It was a while before I really became a leftist.

Huh, interesting. I assume you disagree? Is this a big reason why you're a Maoist and not an ML like Ho?

What do you think should be done to the Vietnamese economy?

why vietnam use latinize alphabet instead of old chinese symbols?

no country has ever been socialist

French occupation.

theres any argue for goin back to old writing system? or people accept latin alph totally?

i heard once, vietnam change they writing system caz of get rid of china influence, isnt true?

Of all the SEAniggers you are the niggest niggers of all of Asia. Worse than Flips. You will never be a comrade of anything.

Stirner was right. Mongoloids are subhuman on par with spooks also known as negroids.

>The history of the world, whose shaping properly belongs altogether to the Caucasian race, seems till now to have run through two Caucasian ages, in the first of which we had to work out and work off our innate negroidity; this was followed in the second by Mongoloidity (Chineseness), which must likewise be terribly made an end of. -Max Stirner

How do the Vietnamese feel about getting shit on for trying to help the Cambodians?

Mags Derner is spooged!

What do you think of Russians?

Is there any form of a real socialist movement in Vietnam rn? All I've heard recently is that many people are pissed at Chinese agression nationalistically.

What are the chances of a change in the near future?
Are there maoists in the VCP or is there a maoist party in Vietnam?

Does this video offend you?
youtube.com/watch?v=rAirFpUl97k

vietnamese catholics are total cancer, especially the wealthy ones.

ho chi minh is actually regarded as a revisionist by MLs just as well as maoists, as i've said, he was a valuable national liberator and anti-imperialist, nothing more.
quite honestly, i think we dont have much of a choice. we depend on foreign investments, and unless there's a new non-revisionist soviet union thats willing to support us, we'll have to keep being neoliberal, better than completely shutting our borders and act like autistic idiots like the north koreans at least. i just hope the chinese maoists-anti-revisionists take over the government and aid us.

thanks for your opinion, also filipinos are south east asians

thats mean

like shit lol, there's a growing sentiment that the cambos are genetically violent and savage and cannot be salvaged. we like laotians though.

ive heard of students who reject foreign exchange programs to russia due to the neo nazis beating up asian immigrants there, and russian tourists being obnoxious cunts doesnt help either.

there's none as far as i know. there's the vietnamese reform party which as i've said are neocon reformists. any other ones are too small to even be recognizable as movements

im pretty hard to offend but many maoists would get butthurt at this indeed

Holy fuck someone has to webm this just for trolling Maoists.

Fug

Why authoritarian when you could be more chill? Why arent you chill?

darn daniellla DDDDDDDD:

i am chill, im not authoritarian at all

Hi Trestkie.
Trong tình huống tương tự, Mason đăng tải một đoạn phim mang tên "Hãy dạy họ cách để không cưỡng hiếp !", cho rằng phụ nữ cần phải cẩn trọng hơn để tránh bị cưỡng hiếp.

If you're not authoritarian why be a Maoist? It's just trading Capitalism for State Capitalism which is a dead end.

Most brutal slaying I've seen all day

why isn't Maoism punishable by death in vietnam after the war you had?

There is a Duolingo course for it you could try to find out for yourself.

How strong is the Vietnamese economy, especially at the ground level? Are average people earning enough to awaken politically, or is everyone still treading water? How stable is the grip of the government/corporations, have there been any plausibly significant political scandals on par with what's happening in South Korea right now?

Done

Heh, related but more general question: What's the current mood in Vietnam toward the Chinese? Have things simmered down since they invaded and got their asses kicked?

Have you looked into Hoxha and the Albanian critique of the PRC because honestly it made a lot of sense and I used to be a Maoist myself. I know the Stalinist-Hoxhaist Comintern claims there's a Hoxhaist section in China I have no idea what kind of following it has though.

Mao supported the Khmer Rogue while he was alive though honeslty it hadn't gone full retard yet. I'm kinda suprised a Viet would want to be associated with Maoism after the Chinese invasion of Vietnam.

A while back someone described how they taught "Marxism" or "socialism" or "communism" in Vietnamese school and it was pretty Orwellian. I don't remember the details though, can you enlighten us OP?

Can you tell me about the state-owned cooperatives in Vietnam? Why is their industrial output so low? Is there workplace democracy?

spooky

Trestkie go back to bed.

What do you think?

I want to know this as well.

How come your English is this good if you are from the North (typically less cosmopolitan)?

Is there any class consciousness among Vietnamese workers, students, etc., or does everyone just want to get rich first?

Does Vietnam have a comparable culture re schooling and studying as China, Korea and Japan (is it properly in the Confucian bloc culturally)?

It wasnt state capitalism until deng xiaoping enacted his market reforms, Maoists are against this

The war happened during deng xiaoping's reign, and the VCP's attitude toward Mao is mostly neutral-positive

We dont even have a capitalist faux-democracy, so no, theres no workplace democracy

I dont know how i could prove im from the north without doxxing myself, but i am. Theres no class consciousness, the attitude is very liberal, some parents pay money for kids to go to those feel-good motivational courses to do better in the anachronistic and stressful schooling system. Education is similar to most other asian countries, emphasis on getting rich and blind nationalism

Oh so I guess Maoism isn't as bad as I thought. I thought it was basically just doing everything like China under Mao.
You forgot your flag

What do you think about Maoists in the Philippines and in India?

Are Vietnamese Maoists as retarded as American/Canandian Maoists?

What do you think of Maoism-Thirdworldism?

What is the state of Vietnamese Doto?

Specifically, what do you think of this fella right here

Bumping to get this question answered

Please, OP. I gotta know

What do you make of Vietnam's economic growth over the last few years? How much of it is just due to Western companies seeking cheap labour?

bumping

How do you view the history of the Cultural Revolution? I've seen some Maoists depict it as an example of a revolution from below, a Proletarian revolution against the Party, a movement to actually abolish the State in a way that never took place in the USSR. Is this accurate? Also, any thoughts on the Chinese Leftcom collective Chuang? They seem pretty chill chuangcn.org/

>Also, any thoughts on the Chinese Leftcom collective Chuang? They seem pretty chill chuangcn.org/
does Chuang have any writings on Chinese Neo-Maoists? I wonder what they think about those groups

Here's two blog posts they did related to Vietnam.

chuangcn.org/2017/05/dinh-cong-tu-phat-wildcat-strikes-in-post-socialist-vietnam/

chuangcn.org/2016/07/below-the-winds/

They don't seem to have any writings on neo-Maoism, but here's a link to their first journal.

chuangcn.org/journal/one/

did he die?

You're a disgrace.

How is life in Vietnam? It has been said that things have improve substantially since Vietnam has gone more liberal, and that the people there now like the free market quite a bit. Is this true? Do you have any commentary on this?

can you hook me up with some Vietnamese propaganda posters?

OP got gulaged for this thread

It's like 7pm over there.

he dead af

seems so

In your onion, when and why did Vietnam stray from the path? I'd also enjoy your perspective on Pol Pot, I'm American, so from what I understand he's the closest thing we've ever gotten to an actual NazBol.
