If we were to remove capitalism from the equation, I wonder then how that would effect the direction and the messages of the show. Honestly, it doesn't matter what the author thought. The important part is how to audience perceives the message. This is also why I don't think that this show is much of an issue on that front. Children perceive the episode as a critique of someone who wants to take away what makes people unique. This means, what people are interested in, what their hobbies are, and what their talents are. Autistic internet people who know about SJW's and the push for equality be all means, see this as a critique of those subjects. Not understanding that this is their own autistic projection.

I'll be honest with you. You are right that these shows have a lot of power over children. However, I think that the values you learn from a children's show, only stick with you until puberty. At that point, your brain starts to rearrange and the beliefs you have been taught will be replaced by new beliefs. Exactly the same way as when teenagers rebel against their parents and teachers.
