I'm not going to watch that but the transcript is so surreal it made me grin/laugh to myself consistently. Shit like this is evidence that humanity was a mistake. I pray Kim Jong Un bestows his gift on the burgers soon and that the ayy lmaos won't take too long to arrive.

Liberals get the bullet too.

I love it

American academia should get the post-Cultural Revolution treatment. Time to send these spoiled brats to the meth-strewn fields and factories and gettoes of their Great and Beautiful land.

A man can dream. I'd even be happy if all they did was go out among the people and engage them in daily town hall style political education to rouse class consciousness, or even better, listen to the Common man and learn a thing or two themselves before going back and staffing the elite institutions. If we want to fix infrastructure, there's plenty of skilled under- and unemployed blue collar workers and specialist in the "reserve army of labour right now as is.

They fed the crocodile, they made it grow big, and now it has turned its hunger on them.

The insatiable, incremental hunger of leftism makes cannibalism an inevitability.

The black bodies are oppressed by institutional systemic violence of the production of power structures by the dominant system of whiteness erasing their identities through capitalist appropriation of intersectional structures of queer resistance!

The thing with paranoid-schizophrenics (ideologically induced or otherwise) is that they're completely serious and unaware of their condition.

Hmm I can't disagree with their sentiment. No white people allowed on campus. Hmm I wonder if they'd find a white ethnostate so all those evil white people can just fuck off and not bother them. Say…Idaho + Montana. Just as a tester.

Hmmm….

I think they'd be quickly disabused of that. I see it as a process of them being confronted by the reality of the working class and something better coming from that. The fact is that the people with time to do all the crap in the OP are very far removed from the reality of class in America. They sure ain't the students working a job on the side and getting a technical degree.

sjw thinking shares a lot of attributes with WN

what a surprise

These people are already working class in the marxist class system so I can't see the point of sending them to the working class when they already are the working class.

Introducing them to reality would be of no help, they're fully equipped to handle reality, every piece and part of it can be fitted in their oppression machine.

personally I find this is the most disturbing aspect of liberal intersectional ideology. SJWs aren't taking control of schools and turning them into communes like 60s radicals tried to do. today's students just want more managerialists and shrinks to come in and take control of them. Their model of the political subject is basically just a neglected psychiatric patient with a vague, incurable PTSD like affliction.

Interesting, it's worth coming back to a few things the author says though.

Of course the issue isn't, as the idpolers on either side of this debate would have you believe, about who is allowed to cook certain "ethnic"(1) foods (allowed by whom, and on what preconditions?) Nor is it about who may profit from cooking these foods. The issue is namely, how does the ability to profit accrue to one group of people in the first place?. Once you see that this is entirely down to ones ability to travel to Mexico, to open a business, in other words to have access to capital, you can strip away the race essentialist bullshit and see that the rights clamoured for are exclusively those of black capitalists(2), and therefore of the capitalist class in general.

(1) I really sympathise with the people implicated by the issues raised in this article. I can't imagine a more distressing experience, than to have some aspect of your lived culture ossified into an "ethnic" artefact. Pic related.

(2) And I mean black, despite the hispanidad of the food on the table. The liberal articles discussed are written by black women who completely subsume the very idea of a hispanic cultural issue into the wider white/black culture war. I wonder why postmodernists always end up defending the binaries they set out to abolish?

Particular instances of marketized enframing are not the problem itself anymore than a clock is the problem with technological enframing.

I agree, but a clock is a very useful way to understand and visualise technological enframing.

And then what, write hysterical think-pieces about how they take time from The People, rip them from the walls, going forward to a time before time, year zero?

The opposition to enframing always takes place within it, and so the opposition to cultural appropriation has to address the products as products, over which the issue is in the logic of product, which is ownership.

I've found most people who complain about muh cultural appropriation are second or third generation middle class immigrants who only know a fetishised version of 'their culture' anyways. For example, whatever passes for 'Mexican culture' in American idpol circles seems completely alien and incomprehensible to people who were actually raised in Mexico, like I was. Many of the cliches of Mexican culture are actually a product of PRI era state propaganda and/or the tourism industry. Liberal idpol often leads to cargo cult mentality where even the most banal things are treated as sacred religious objects provided they can be attributed to an 'oppressed' culture. L

Student politics is always so fucking shitty. Even back in the day when campus radicals at least declared some adherence to Marx and socialism their approach was shallow, focused on style and immature as fuck.

And here I was hoping to find some potential radicals. Nope. Just peak idop.

Student activism is shit no matter what my friend. I'm sure you'll be able to find some "Marxists" among them but they'll be nearly as bad.

I knew it. I knew this pseudo-anarchist was still in high school/recently graduated.
