Stormcloaks or Imperials?
From a leftist perspective of course

Stormcloaks because of National Liberation

Stop trying to interface with reality through inane pop culture. You sound like a liberal using Harry Potter allegories.

There is no leftist perspective here. But Imperials.

Altmer

We already had this thread at least three times and it was already settled that Stormcloaks are just useful idiots for the Thalmor, Ulfric is a pawn to the pointy ears and the civil war and possible secession of Skyrim just weaken men in favor of mer.
Not siding with the Imperials pretty much means you enjoy being an useful idiot.

No. Video Games and Video Gameboys can fuck off.

a better game

Shitty two hour arc with no actual fucking battle. Shit.

We are the blades. We will rid Skyrim of the capitalist dragon

Neither; Imps are corrupt, and Stormcloaks are literally pure ideology.

A real leftist enables the High King of Skyrim mod and founds his own faction. Preferably with a practical aesthetic (no Daedric or Glass armor here), and a simple uniform (like a red bandana or headband) to signify its members' allegiances.

I really need to get a life.

I recommend the paradox games for creating your perfect Utopia

A leftist uninstalls Skyrim and plays New Vegas to pick YesMan.

Play better video games.

Vivec.

Nod.

This is the correct answer.

There is no leftist perspective in a non-materialist world. Let the war continue and join the Thalmor to ascend and dissolve the world. also go play Morrowind instead

Biggest letdown: Playing Orc and not being able to join the Orc bandit camps.

literally /ourguy/

...

Daily reminder that Dagoth Ur was basically a spiritual communist and would have eventually helped everyone escape the false reality that all the elder scrolls games take place in.

Stormcloaks
It's entirely because I read it as an allegory for Scottish nationalism due to chronological and iconographic similarities.

Though really my answer is "fuck the main quest it's boring shit dick around with the thieves guild and dark brotherhood then have skyrim overheat your shit laptop and go back to playing Oblivion and Morrowind but mostly Oblivion"

I would a Lucien Lachance

As a Leftist, I would choose whatever side guarantees me the ability to remove Altmer while getting a qt mature Dunmer waifu

...

DAGOTH UR WELCOMES YOU

my n'wahs

It's the question of liberal democracy vs Fascism.

Que?

Skyrim a shit

this

;_;

Yea the Falmer are likebthe EU and the empire are the regular status quo government that keeps shit the same.

The only materialist choice would be the faction that is most likely to develop into capitalism, which is none of them because Skyrim is shit.

...

You can't have a leftist (materialist) perspective on a world which is anti-materialist and magical, based on prophecies.

that being said the leftists supporting the Empire are like the ones which support the EU because of muh lesser evil and muh fascism

You can become a blood-kin in every Orc Camp. That being said, guilds are utter shit in Skyrim because they literally don't matter, you just do quests for them.

Hey Holla Forums, I'm in the final development stage of my quest mod for Skyrim that has a few thousand endorsements already. I'm aiming to put a subversive commie message under all the overt fascist/monarchist rhetoric you'll be hearing.

I don't want to make the the socialist message too explicit as gamers are reactionary retards, but I want the message to be clear that fascism/capitalism will lead to suffering and perdition.

Due to capitalism not having been fully conceived in the world yet, I'm using a precursor of it under a different moniker, where you will see people laying the framework for capitalism itself.

It's pretty convoluted but should make sense thematically when you play through it. Unfortunately I'm not the best writer, however I have been improving and am able to create distinct characters - from illiterate peasants to royalty. Just have trouble imparting any resonance with my dialogue.

Anyone familiar with skyrim mods should recognize the mod through the picture - and you may know my history as the author. I used to be a reactionary idiot, so I'm trying to mirror my emotional growth through the mod.

Thalmor, to end material existence through the power of sheer idealism. Take that, Marx!

>mfw the thalmor complete the system of german idealism and raise thulealdmeris

Honestly there is nothing more retarded than giving medieval characters socialist or progressive rethoric. It comes over as fake, just look Kingdom of Heaven. What a liberal mess.

Don't. Give them medieval ideals. Read up on the enclosure of the commons in England. Just showing that capitalism isn't eternal and was introduced through violence to a population who regarded it as a horrible system of exploitation inferior to their primitive village life should be enough. So many people think capitalism has always been there or that history was a gradual march of improvement.

I'm not going to use direct language, it will just be hints. I'm using the Anabaptist rebellion in munster as a "commie" analogue.

The subtext will only be picked up by people familiar to left wing discourse - to everyone else it'll just be about the abuse of power.

Your characters should probably think capitalism and profit is for faggot capitalists, and no true son of Skyrim would exploit his countrymen like that.
They let the Dark Elves run the banks instead

Considering how Skyrim is feudal, the most leftist thing would be bourgeois liberal revolutionaries trying to establish a republic.

But fuck that, it's fantasy after all. The peasants, craftsmen, sailors, soldiers, small merchants etc. can rise up against both nobility and the bourgeoisie. You could take hints from anarcho-communism as Kropotkin envisioned it:

This takes place in High Rock, an almost 1:1 of feudal Europe.

I'm planning to do what you greentexted AFTER the complete collapse of the kingdom however - as per the story of the mod. The kingdom collapses because of the natural consequence of feudalism (mixed with fascism at the end). Peasant rebellion, another kingdom seeking reprisal for past atrocities and general corruption/mismanagement.

If you're interested, I'll post a script later today just to make it clearer what the mod is about.

One thing that always bothers me with mods like this is the voice acting.

I think I would play a lot more total conversion mods if it wasn't for the voice acting.
