"We Should Explore Ideas Like Universal Basic Income"

CAN'T CUCK THE ZUCC

This pleases the liberals

Zucc vs The Rock

I'm looking forward to it

>IT'S ME, AMERICA! IT WAS ME…ALL ALONG, AMERICA!

This is the future we must be in.

UBI isn't that fucking bad. Just because a minimum wage isn't FULL COMMUNISM doesn't mean there shouldn't be any.

...

Tekken is basically a documentary.

I sincerely believe this is what will happen

...

those youtube comments are incredibly painful to read.

only hope is suicide

No, it creates lazy people.

Anyone who'd have anything intelligent to say wouldn't waste their energy on posting a youtube comment. YT comment sections are the purest form of internet cancer known to man.

No, socialism is when workers own the means of production. I’m against UBI because it’ll create lazy NEETs who are a plague to society. People gain meaning in life through work. This is why I’m against UBI. A post-work society is one without meaning.

...

The reason work is the only real meaning in life is because porky has made it so. Capital can't be abolished until we start rethinking work altogether.

This is how I know you've never had a job.

And quite possibly a meaningful life for that matter.

have you ever had a job in your life?
I have nothing against work, and honestly I think that all people should work, but then we would need to work less, and people would have time to actually find meaning in their life, and live according to it, spending their free time on art, science, sport.

Pretty shitty meaning of life, then.

So Mark Zuckerberg was a left-accelerationist all along ?

First, the idea that life has meaning to begin with is ridiculous on its own. The idea that you can (let alone ``must``) engage in a soulless wage labor job to gain this meaning is pants-on-head retarded.

It also makes the false assumption that having a meaning in life is a good thing in of itself. If the meaning of said life is "I am nothing more than an easily disposable drone in a hive," then you're better off without any meaning.

In the case of those who actually enjoy their work (including those that work for themselves in their freetime IE Crafts and stuff), it's not the work that gives meaning to life, its life that gives meaning to their work. And it certainly doesn't give ``society`` any sort of meaning.

Then again the only people who make this argument to begin with are porkies and wannabe-porkies, the kind of people who have no intention of practicing what they preach.

...

We've seen several posts on this shit, OP being supportive while all the comments being against UBI and more unanimously, against the zucc.
Who is this OP who's shilling for porky?
Alphabet soup can't seriously support the zucc over one of theirs, eg the next clinton.
What gives?

For fuck's sake, this is why you don't have friends.
Nobody's out to get some armchair revolutionaries, this is just shitposting, at most some Holla Forumsyp thinking he's being clever.

...

Leftism and Marxism are outdated 20th century ideologies. the working class could not give less of a shit about 'communism', that's just for LARPing college students. The proles want UBI, algorithms and chartered flights to Mars, they want to see innovators innovating and disruptors disrupting. They don't want Lenin or communes that's for sure. We live in the cyberworld now, and the cyberworld needs new politics that go beyond left and right. A politics based on evidence and rationality, not ideology. Politics have failed us, so we need Men like Zuckerberg and Elon Musk to come in an save us by harnessing the power of tech and innovation.

I have a shit ton of friends, user.
Check out the other posts, the push for zucc is very strong, it feels unnatural.
I'm not the only one saying it

have you actually read anything "leftist"?

This is dumb, even for Nazbol gang.

meaning is created, you don't get it from spending 14 hours a day pleasuring yourself to fully immersive VR lolicon, that's for sure. Nihilist hedonism is lowkey cucked as fuck, you have believe in the power of collective will to shape the world and create freedom for everyone. The whole is greater to the sum of the parts. Maybe you are happy with consumeristic hedonism, cause everything else is just a spook, amirite? but im not, I want something more and i'm willing to fight for it

Thas Rite.
You can get it all by working 14 hours for me instead, my good worker.

Yes, but what kind of work and under what conditions?

"Meaning" is literally a bourgeois spook made up to get you to sell your labour, get married, buy a diamond ring, and have 2.5 children so the process can be repeated continuously.

The isolated NEET consumer is perhaps even more alienated than the factory worker. It's the other side of the same coin. Both lives can only exist in a world based on the principle of universal separation. Capitalism has always recognised every man's right to passive consumption, thats nothing new. But the revolution strives for more, it strives for a world were all people can engage in meaningful action. The revolution demands a personal transformation, a going beyond oneself, a recognising you are more than an individual. That doesn't mean you become part of a hivemind, the opposite is true. One can only be free in a world of free individuals. But change's hard, it scares people. These people have to be shaken into awareness somehow. The naive stirnerism that's popular on here bears an uncanny resemblance to 21st century individualist consumer ideology, a void in which nothing exists but the self.

likewise, reified 'meaningless' is also a spook made up to keep you passive and obedient.

One of the central tenets of Marxist philosophy is that our species essence is the ability to work in a creative way that separates us from working animals like bees and ants. Alienation is when your labor becomes work. You work not because it satisfies your species essence but because the ability to sustain yourself is withheld from you unless you place yourself in bondage to another.

While nazbol boy is a retard, universal basic income in a capitalist society will be a disaster. UBI will create a passive class of people who will be a the mercy of the capitalists. They will give you benefits that will increasingly a shrink over time and voting in the bourgeois democracy (already a joke) will be helpless to stop this. You may ask how is this different than what we have now? Well, in our current system the power that we, the workers, hold is the potential to halt production (strikes) or even (plz do it) seizure of the MOP if the material conditions get bad enough.

With ubi the conditions could get bad enough through austerity and the people could rise up, but I expect they will be happily culled - fewer of them lower taxes no concern of loss of production.

fuck you I'm poor and I want money. There's no revolution even close to happening and I want to not be living in total misery before I die.

Ubi is false hope. Increase automation is inevitable but UBI will only keep the MOP in the filthy hands of porky. The only way we can get the robots to work for all of us is to take control now before human work is obsolete.
Please stop thinking so shortsighted and reactionary.

That's because we've attracted a lot of robots, Reddit liberals, and younger adolescents here over the past few months. Once the more well-read posters return from uni, we can expect to see crap like this, spoken by people who haven't even read Stirner, subside.

the MOP will stay in Porky's hands. I would like to not live miserably before I do.

I'd rather die on my feet than live on my knees

No. If that were true there wouldn't be hundreds of millions of people living in extreme poverty and even starving to death. Capitalism only allows you to consume if you work, and it never returns the full value of your labor back to you. That's the whole point of Marx.

spooked

It's already happened. Linda McMahon is head of the Small Business Administration.

UBI would ideally be just enough to meet material needs, this would preserve the incentive to create.

This is how you can spot a larper.

I'm a socialist because I want to improve the material conditions of myself and those I care for, not because I've got an oneiric desire to die in a romantic haze of bullets.

I'm not against stirner per se, but it's just too easy to use the spook meme, itself ironically reified into spook status, to justify one's passivity to oneself. notice how its always the active ego that's 'spooked', while the passive ego is regarded as 'unspooked' and inherently authentic.
