REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Holla Forums there is a clerk at my local 7-11 who always calls me "brother" and tries to get to know me. I don't care for that sort of thing at all and just want to buy my soda and pizza with my money I don't like to mix business and friendship or pleasure. I like capitalism because it is completely autistic and lets me to just spend money to get my tendies with no questions asked.

I have this in my local tesco, its got the point where I feel obligated to speak to them but I really just don't have anything to say.

Also, its capitalisms fault that communities have broken down so that this is no longer a comfortable exchange. And it isn't comfortable because the implication now is not that you are helping each other but that they are serving you

the alienation is real folks

...

Yeah we've all been through something like this, user

Polite sage because it's not really the best thread we have tbh

It isn't though. Spectacular society is obsessed with appearing to care, even if it wants everyone to be a robotic autist on the inside. You have to feign enthusiasm, and not even your own natural way of expressing it, but the socially normal defined way of doing so.

That just makes me sad. Imagine how many people feel so lonely and alienated that they need to vent to complete strangers…

I guess that basically describes imageboards…

The Spectacle lives because people comply with its language, even if it obvious how completely empty and ridiculous it is.
Regardless, even though it is a matter of appearance, there is still someone inside trying to reach out. Don't be to because afraid to take the offer and engage on a deeper level because the Spectacle demands that we appear ecstatic in our misery.

So much for the friendly, proletariat loving left.

...

aww, he likes you! :3

Literal poison for your body

Dumb frog poster

Salutations, brother! Why do you shun your fellow man?

You shun a store clerk you probably see multiple times a week being polite to you and calling you brother yet you unironically call trannies and rabid drug addicts you have never met on leftist message boards comrade while quoting Marx out of the other end of your mouth about alienation and the commodification of human relationships in the breath…

Your main problem with this is that you realize that you are his brother, and that deep inside, you are living in a 7-11 of ideology, forever trapped sweeping the floors and cleaning the shit bathroom, with no end in sight. That clerk is a reflection of your whole reality, and you are most definitely his brother.

this is how leftists operate, pure hypocrisy.

PORKIES REEEEEEEE

...

this is how rightists operate, lack of reading comprehension

Well, any society needs a little capitalism, a little socialism, and a little fascism to function. Maybe some communism or nationalism, too.

I used to live by a convenience store that was owned by muslims that were pretty polite. They kept saying I was clearly a muslim too since I had a full beard and would invite me to their shit. Cool guys one was a ginger who used to be in prison lol.

Those yemeni bodega owners are always super over the top friendly and always seem to ramp their friendliness up right after the (now practically monthly) terrorist attacks in Europe it's really fucking weird tbh…

Terrible take.

wow you're clearly so well-adjusted
wtf I love fascism now

Also, its communisms fault that communities have broken down so that this is no longer a comfortable exchange. And it isn't comfortable because the implication now is not that you are helping each other but that they are serving you

This is an imageboard, not a movie set, user.

Cenk Uygur please go

yeah, weird

It's just part and parcel of living in a multicultural society. They will have to get used to it.

there is no reason to be rude till the Nazi masturbation fantasy imo

Show me on the doll where capitalism touched you

Cause Yemenis hate wahhabism

Everything Orwell said about socialists back in his time is true today.

Okay, you are clearly well-qualified to have opinions on these matters.
Please continue and explain your position.

In my bookstore I nod to the guy, I go get my books, we talk in a friendly manner but only the necessary, he sees what books I'm buying, I buy my books, we nod and say our goodbyes and I get out. This is the perfect relationship and I don't want anything else.

Except history shows local communities resisting initially feudalism, then continuing to resist it all throughout its history. Communities were pushed of the land by lords and the petit bourgeois by military force or by interest on loans taken out during years of bad harvest.

The rise of capitalism coincides with the breakdown of the village community. Village communities. Such as the early medieval Germanic communities, use to govern themselves via a folkmote and hold all land in common. Feudalism was not the natural follow on from this, rather the result of foreign invasion.

Have you tried not being an autist?
