It seems to me that Brezhnev is more likeable among Marxists than Corn Man. Why is that?

Tankies gonna Tank.
Brezhnev is shit. Atleast with Stalin and Krusch the economy was good and Stalin was a hero of the revolution. only good thing about Brezhnev is how he cucked the Americans in Vietnam.

Because le corn man desecrated the name of Stalin(PBUH)

he's got the kavorka

Brezhnev's period of "stagnation" was ironically the longest period of normalcy the Russians experienced in a very long time.

Do people actually hate the Khrushchev Thaw?

From the theoretical perspective things like peaceful coexistence annoyed some people, but that's not a problem because a certain Chinese chairman has risen to continue spreading the revolution.

Found the revisionist

This but unironic

What's wrong with revisionism?

replace "revisionism" with "heresy" and you'll understand

Ah, so… nothing.

He threw a revisionist fuckface off his throne. That's why.

...

and yet Hoxha despised Brezhnev

This

bait or normal ancom

He was a better imperialist.

BREZHNEV IS NAZBOL.

From a practical point of view the thaw made perfect sense. There was no way the Soviet bloc could compete with the U.S. without ruining themselves. If they hadn't have been wasting all their resources on military spending they might have actually been able to put more energy into consumer goods and fighting corruption. They might still be around today.

the third one is 10/10

...

Not a fan of either but at least Brezhnev made the social democracy more sufferable.

Probably this:

His tenure was one of the better times to live in the Soviet Union, but his reforms laid the groundwork for its collapse.
